Our server Jodie was a NIGHTMARE. We came here for a birthday dinner and she had an attitude from the moment we ordered. She didn’t greet our party and even ignored some of us until we finally asked her for something to drink. As a former server I understand that there’s good days and bad days but that is NO EXCUSE to treat a table as poorly as she treated us. She was very aggressive/snarky whenever we asked her things. One of our party members asked her about the wine menu and wanted to know which wines were sweet and she said “it’s right there” with an attitude. She kept making slick remarks to most of our party throughout our entire experience. At the end when our party was paying she didn’t even finalize all the checks before confronting the guests on the first check that her tip was too low. She stated that she only makes $8 an hour as well which is actually good hourly pay for a server so we were confused as to why she was complaining to us about that. We were all appalled at her behavior because we have NEVER experienced an encounter like this. As a server you should be aware that your tip is not mandatory and it should be based on your service. I’m shocked that she was comfortable enough to speak to us the way she did all night and have the nerve to verbally attack and harass us BEFORE PAYMENTS WERE...

After hearing and reading the great reviews we made a reservation for dinner to celebrate a birthday and were very disappointed with pretty much everything. We arrived on time for our reservation and were told we would have to wait as our table wasn't ready. No problem but it then turned into 20 minutes and we were told we could sit on the back "patio" which is basically the back porch with a few tables or continue to wait for a table inside. We opted to eat outside but were not told in advance that the bar next door would be blasting music really loud and that you could smoke at your table. We experienced both which absolutely ruined our dinner. I haven't been to many restaurants lately (there is no bar at this establishment so not sure why you can smoke) where smoking in allowed. The service was very slow, the food was mediocre at best but the kicker was the four dollar charge for grated cheese (we each asked when offered for a little grated cheese) and a three dollar convenience fee, not sure what that was for. I really wanted to like this place it is very charming from the outside but I will...

After reading many positive reviews on the quality of food, decided to try this establishment for dinner. Read through the posted reviews and looked over the restaurant’s website and nowhere did it mention requiring a reservation. After spending 20 minutes to find parking, we walked up from the rear of the building. We passed several empty tables on their outdoor deck and as we entered the empty foyer, we noticed several available tables inside. After about 5 minutes, a hostess came out and answered a ringing phone before attending to us. She finished her phone call, and then asked if we had reservations, to which we replied no. She then looked at what I’m assuming was her reservation book and simply replied “we’re full, sorry”. There were only two of us. There was no effort made to find a table, no option made available to wait. Just being told “we’re full”. This is a terrible way to conduct business. If reservations are required to eat here, this information should be clearly expressed. Not to worry, I won’t waste my time trying to eat here again and will be sure to share my experience...

Excellent! Our first visit for my daughter Lily's 18th birthday. Our reservation was at 530 because we booked at last minute. From the moment we arrived and during our entire dining experience, the service was 5 stars. The food and wine were also amazing. We began with shareable meatball appetizer after we munched on the delicious bread with garlic basil dipping oil. I was already full after we finished the meatballs with fresh basil and ricotta. Our server allowed us generous time to talk and enjoy. Then we ordered our main courses, eggplant parm, chicken parm and shrimp scampi. First was our salads with gorgonzola and delicious house dressing. The complimentary limoncello frozen after dinner drink was nice touch. We will be back when we crave great homemade Italian food in cozy atmosphere. Love the sweet little house. Thank you for a delightful evening.

Great value for money! The food is very tasty, it's nothing special, but well executed standards. If you want to spend a nice evening with no cooking, have something good but are not craving anything extraordinary (and are on a budget), it's a perfect spot. Don't get this as something negative - there's a high chance I might go back exactly for another evening like that. The place overall is very nice with friendly service. They didn't have gluten free pasta when I was there, but there are many options to end up being full :)

Went for dinner with some friends that came to town, and was surprised to not have heard of this quaint little spot! It seems to be an old home that has been converted and the setup is perfect for an intimate dining space. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the meatball appetizer which was delicious. I had the shrimp scampi as they do not have my tried and true penne vodka. The food was quite good, my only qualm would be the menu is a bit limited compared with other italian spots I have been or frequent.
