Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Sturgis

Way to strive for mediocrity at best. Your waitress requirements have seriously dropped. They lack basic manners. Firstly, she leaned on the podium with an attitude I can only describe as "I really don't care." Second infraction: when asked where to sit, she motioned with the "move along" or "get lost" style hand motion. I had more manners than this as a preteen. Next, we were required by the waitstaff to hand out our own drinks, which were empty by the time she bothered to swing by the table for our food order let alone ask if we needed more to drink. On top of the disaster that is your "face of the company", upon our arrival, South Park was playing on the TV. Hardly suitable entertainment for a family with 2 toddlers. If it hadn't been for our parents insisting on staying, we would have left at this point. Instead, we stayed at our parents bidding and ordered. Everything came out at the same time causing some dishes to be cold and the dishes for our children to be so boiling that they burned themselves. Also, our chicken taco pizza turned out to be just plain taco pizza. No chicken on it what so ever. I'm more likely to go to Dominos or pizza ranch...

We walked into the Sturgis, sd Pizza Hut #007843 for the pizza buffet. Both me and my wife first took a look at the pizzas under the buffet counter and noticed that all of their pizzas had meat. I asked the young girl at the register if they could please fix a thin veggie for us. She quickly told us in a scolding manner that they do not take requests and pointed to the pizzas under the lights telling us that is what you get, "take it or leave it." I told her that we have eaten at Pizza Huts all over the country and we have never been rudely denied veggie pizza or any other pizza. Every Pizza Hut we have ever been to before this had great friendly employees and very receptive to a simple request. Well, we ate a little of what we really did not want because we were very hungry. As we were leaving the restaurant, I spoke to the Manager about our experience there. She had the same attitude as the rude girl at the cash register and at that point we just walked away shaking our heads. So sad to know that some employees do not know or care about people. I guess they do not know where their wages...

I absolutely love pizza and Pizza Hut pizza is definitely one of my favorites, but so disappointed this time. My small family & I came around 1pm on a weekday and decided to dine in. The restaurant was completely dead, we were the only ones dining in. I was bummed to find they don't offer any specials for dine in. When our pizza arrived it was so greasy, I couldn't taste anything but grease. My family eat no more than 1 slice each as it was so bad tasting . Bread sticks were great though! Our waiter was pretty busy in the back, at the end of our meal we went up to the front to the cash register wanting a refill, box to go & our bill but seemed our waiter was busy with the phone & to go orders while the girl in the back who was doing nothing was hiding from us. She seen us but avoided helping us at all costs. Few minutes later our waiter was able to help us with it all. I felt bad it was all on him to do, while the girl in the back did nothing at all. You couldn't help but notice the floor in the kitchen she was hanging out in was terribly dirty. Our waiter was doing his best but a lot all for 1...
