First I find it very sad Pizza Ranch did not respond to my feedback per the web address on my receipt. I ordered at 03:55 on November 11th. I asked Monique what my better deal would be, two eight piece combo or the 12 piece chicken adding chicken and sides. She said the combo, I ordered two of them which included a side and I added a side. She said it would be 10 to 15 minutes because of chicken, and she would bring it out. At 04:45 I went and asked where my order was, assuming it had to be done because new chicken was constantly coming from the kitchen. The two kids who were working had no clue. Because my husband is a Veteran, who could eat free on Veterans day, I was fed up and grabbed a to go box, he could have eaten and be done by the time we got our food. At 04:49 our food comes out as well as a clerk who asked if I paid for the to go box. I advised he was a veteran and he eats free. I guess not from to go boxes because I again was charge Take Two for $10.00, later I thought I should have gotten another to go box, because I paid for it. We get to the pickup and I check the order, wrong, not the combos I ordered. I went back in to tell them we didn't get the correct order. Finally Monique shows up and sternly said "you ordered a 16 piece chicken." I decided my time arguing with her was useless and time consuming, people were waiting on us. Five miles later dinner is served, with cold chicken. Customer service and quality control at it's worse at a cost of $77.00.

We were there around 2:30pm or so and were the only ones there. The lady who took our order when we came in said the buffet started at 5pm. We didn't know they had a buffet. She was very friendly. We had pizza, chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and chocolate chip cookie dessert. It was a combo of some sort. The pizza was good, I had pan crust. The chicken was a little overcooked but still good. My husband didn't like the potatoes as they had garlic in them. The place was clean and very nice. It sits in a small strip mall. Would go there again.

Stopped here on the way to Spearfish. What a surprise! The buffet for lunch was 13.99 and included pizza salad and chicken dinner items with desert! Soft drinks and coffee included. The pizza was fresh and delicious. The chicken tasted like it was broasted and was moist and crispy outside. The Apple strudel and choc chip collie with soft serve ice cream was delicious! Clean and friendly staff!

Was a planned stop on bus tour. We were there within 5 min. of schedule. Was greeted at the door by employee handing out cups for our drinks. Of course they stuck their hand in every one. Try handing them out by grasping them from the outside. First thing in the door was the salad bar on the left. Lettuce was all but gone, no cheese, peas, ham or chicken which is usually diced on salad bar, no onions, no eggs. Pizza was on the right side . When we got to the pizza, only one on the serving area. Chicken on the buffet was gone, we were told it would be at least 10 min for more. No potatoes or potato wedges were out either. Then the beverage station. Lots of ice cubes on the floor you had to be careful of not stepping on. Only 1 dessert pizza was available. They have a "bunkhouse" area for groups but none of the guests were directed to that area. Servers never came around to pick up dirty plates if there were any. Soup kettles were also empty. All of the food they serve can be held and put out when needed. They did a very poor job of serving when they knew they were having 2 tour busses at a specific time. Only positive thing at that location is the ice cream. Very...

Used to be great but $36 for 2 people to eat at an average pizza buffet is price gouging. Don't take advantage of Sturgis Rally attendees. We already get enough of that elsewhere. "Rally Prices" can backfire on businesses. We can chose to go buy groceries and eat like Kings at the campground instead.

That being said, in years passed we have eaten at Pizza Ranch in Sturgis at least 4 or 5 times over 2 weeks and usually another 1 or 2 times in Spearfish. There are usually 8 of us eating together. The Pizza was always good and one year in Spearfish, they made us any pizza we wanted. A young boy, maybe 12, waited on us and told us he was a member of the family that managed the restaurant. He was smart, articulate, and did a wonderful job. This year (2021) we noticed a lot of changes that all seemed to be a reduction in value to the customer. Prices went up and service and quality went down. I sincerely hope to see things get back to...
