Francesco's Pizzeria & Restaurant — Restaurant in Suffield

My wife and I have been going to this restaurant for years do this restaurant for years. Visited last night for dinner August August 6th. The food has always been delicious but the prices keep raising constantly every time we go so we were a little leery this time . Both my wife and I had a bowl of soup each had a soda and ordered 12 Buffalo wings. With the prices in the menu the bill should have been around 38 to $40. Was very upset when I received a bill for $50.. Question the waitress why the bill is so high And she had told me that they had to raise their prices and that menus are too expensive to be purchased right now so the only way you find out what you're paying for your meal is when you get your bill at the end of your meal and are expected to pay it no matter what . I told the waitress this was very deceptive and not right she pointed to a little 1 inch by 3inch card on the table that just explains that they raised their prices and they apologize, it does not say anything about the menu being wrong as far as prices go . I told her it was very sneaky in the fact that you can hardly see this little card and you need a magnifying glass to read it and also it does not state that the new price is at the new prices are not shown in the menu. All I asked was to pay the prices shown in the menu the owner and his wife argued and said they could not change the prices so I paid the bill in unfortunately the staff got no tip because because I got ripped off! My wife and I paid $50 literally for 12 Buffalo wings 2 Pepsi's and 2 bowls of soup!! I don't see Anna and the original gang there anymore I think It might be under new management the food was not as good as it had always been and obviously neither was the service I am sad to say that was our last time to...

We live locally and order out here quite often. Tonight was the exception. I called to order a meatball grinder and a chef special chicken Gianni. The girl who took my order could not seem to understand anything I was saying , I had to repeat myself multiple times and after about 5 minutes even had to spell out CAPERS. During this entire interaction she was extremely aloof to my growing frustration and was even laughing with another girl. She couldn't make it through reciting my order back without having a laughing fit, and eventually just hung up on me. I called back still trying to hold my composure and got whom I can assume was the other girl laughing with original girl she apologized and I just asked her to repeat my order back, the result ... another laughing fit now from this girl ! I finally had enough and asked her to just forget my order to which she just said ok and hung up. No apologies or even attempt at trying to remedy the situation. Truly one of the most rude and frustrating take out calls I have had to deal with. Francesco's really needs to evaluate their front end staff( rude and immature) since it's really left me and potentially anyone else who ordered out tonight not wanting to return for the foreseeable future. We have been going here on a regular basis for over 3 years. On October 12th they messed up our take out order. We live deep in Enfield near the Mass line we weren’t going back to have food remade so the “manager” we talked to when I had called told us she would write our name down for our meals to be remade for another day. Well… we go to order today and no one wrote our name down and the owner Johnny refused to remake our food and insinuated we were looking for free food. After some back and forth he begrudgingly said he would do one meal remake. Although it was not what was originally offered we reluctantly said yes. Upon picking up our food it was further discussed how disappointed we were and he gave us our two meals for no charge. It should not have been such an argument or belittling situation of owner vs customer. It was a very frustrating experience. Especially because even the remake of our food was messed up. Chicken was missing in our Alfredo and we were given pasta with sauce when it was supposed to be just linguine for our chicken francese.
