I have never written a negative review on a company in my entire life but am so floored by my experience I feel I need to let people know how little they care about their customers. On 1/23/24 I ordered a cake to to pick up on 12/26/24 to take out of town with me the following day. The site showed the bakery open that day. I received a confirmation to my order and reminder of date and time to pick up. I showed up on 12/26 to find the business closed. The next morning I called for over 1/2 an hour when they were supposed to be open with no answer. I again drove there before leaving town hoping my cake was ready. The cake was not made and I was told that the corporate had the open dates wrong on the website. They knew this in advance and I asked why I was not contacted Monday or Tuesday to inform me of this and the managers response was I don't know I was not working those days. No solutions were given to me what so ever for example giving me bundlets already made that would equal a cake etc. I could not wait for a cake to be made as I was already running late for my trip. I asked for the owners name and number and tried to reach her the following day. I ended up talking to another manager whom I again asked why I was not contacted and she said there were just so many orders and that they tried to contact as many people as they could but could not get to everyone. She also said many people were mad. That is completely unacceptable that they knowing knew people would be showing up for their cakes. Everyone should have been contacted with no exceptions even if the owner had to help make those calls to allow people an opportunity to make other arrangements and not waste their time and gas driving there. I drove there twice! At the very least they should have sent out a mass email letting people know the website dates were wrong. Most people when purchasing a cake are doing so for a special occasion. I have left 4 messages for the owner to contact me and even put a request on the corporate website to be contacted and here we are a month later and not one person has reached out to me. I have been going to that bakery 2 to 3 times a month since they opened and bought all of my cakes there for special occasions. To find out how little my business meant to them was very disturbing. They will never see my face again in their bakery and I will make a a point to tell EVERYONE I know what they think of...
Read moreOoof. This makes me so sad writing. This was my first time ordering a cake from here. I placed the pick up order one week prior to time I wanted to pick up. I realized immediately after placing the order I forgot to have the sign say happy birthday for my mom’s Christmas birthday. I called 3+ times with no answer. I was like maybe they are closed. Checked store hours. No they’re open….. I sent an email same day as placing the order with my order number to please if possible change to happy birthday. Never got an email back. I figured ok no big deal I’ll ask them when I pick up it’s just a small sign. Christmas Eve pick up day comes o scheduled a 6pm pick up. 2:30 I leave for Christmas Eve church service. At 2:37 the store calls me saying they close at 4 so my 6 pm pick up isn’t possible. They had my order a week never answered the phone never replied the email. $50 order and they call me like it was my error. I’m not sure why the 6 pm pick up was not blocked out if they’re closed. I don’t think that’s my fault. I’m frantic my mom is waiting at the church so I say ok I’ll get it now so she will still have a cake. At that point I’m told it’s not made and the drizzle icing won’t be done in time. No one offered to refund my money for the drizzle icing or make up for this at any point speaking to multiple staff. I select a different flavor so I can pick up my mom’s birthday cake and not leave her stranded at church on Christmas Eve. They serve four people after me giving them surveys for free stuff friendly and leave my cake on counter in the back no apology for what happened or attempt to make right. When they go to serve the fifth person after me I step in and say hey I’m in a little bit of a rush could you check on my cake. I get my different flavor icing not how i wanted cake no happy birthday no smile handing it to me no refund treated like I did something wrong. I will never get another cake from here $50 is too much for such horrible treatment of customers I understand the holiday but this was an all time record on how low customer...
Read moreCount your days nothing bundt cakes… I had ordered a lemon raspberry cake (KEEP THE RASPBERRY PART IN MIND) and what I had gotten was NOTHING short of disappointing. FIRSTLY, the cake had a HINT of lemon. It honestly should’ve been called “vanilla raspberry” with how much lemon taste there was. AND THE ICING! GOOD GREIF!! Sickening..AND I MEAN SICKENING SWEET. THE CAKE IS ALREADY SWEET. There does NOT need to be THAT MUCH sugar in the icing, but what a TRAGEDY it was that the icing was the BEST PART!! THAT IS UNBELIEVABLE! SECONDLY, the raspberries… and PLEASE BELIEVE that I held out hope for the raspberries..As I was eating this disappointing cake..I started to wonder?? “Where oh where are these raspberries that the name of the cake quite literally mentions??” So I say to my husband “Hmm, i’m not sure i’m finding any raspberries at the moment” so I ASSUME there MUST be raspberries in the middle of the cake, y’know since i’m not seeing any on the outside. So then I cut into the middle of the cake (AND REMEMBER, at this point I am STILL holding out hope..) BUT BEHOLD..THREE MEASLY PEICES OF RASPBERRY NOT EVEN CENTERED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BUNDT CAKE. Im not sure if I just got a bad bundt cake or if the rest of your customers have EXTREMELY LOW standards. But that MUST be the reason you all are still in business after selling UNSATISFACTORY cakes. The only way I could excuse this blunder is if one of your employees were starved and sucked all of my raspberry out if the cake.. Because I honestly don’t think I would be as mad as I am right now if that were the case. AND NO, THATS NOT THE END OF IT. Just before this (before this horrible tasting experience) at the cash register the cashier PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED THAT I HAD “INSUFFICIENT FUNDS ON MY CARD”. YES, OK!! So let’s just grab a MEGAPHONE while we’re at it. That was NOTHING LESS of a PUBLIC HUMILIATION RITUAL!! Anywho, I MIGHT come back and try to prove myself wrong. Emphasis on the “might” because this experience...
