Had a wonderful experience at Sakari Sushi! We were looking for something local, and with better quality than Sushi King. We also love Sakana but we eat a lot of sushi and prefer AYCE (all you can eat) options We came on a Tuesday for dinner at around 6pm, we sat ourselves at a booth and we were quickly greeted by the only server we saw the entire night, there were also two sushi chefs working the bar. Long story short, all the fish was fresh and flavorful, sashimi is included in ayce and so buttery and tasty. The tempura batter for the fried rolls and the tempura shrimp roll was light, airy, and crunchy. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. As per the detail, we paid $27.95 a person for the dinner ayce, and ordered the below: miso soup ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - perfect flavor and not too hot age tofu ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - wish it had been a bit crispier but wonderful flavor bbq squid ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - amazing flavor for a dish that is very hard to find in this area, just a tad bit overcooked tuna tataki ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - raw salmon was great, seemed to be marinated in ponzu and maybe some spicy sauce, it came garnished with scallion, served over seaweed salad monster roll ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - our least favorite of the spicy rolls we tried, just nothing special about it american roll ⭐️⭐️ - mediocre, will not order again super crunch roll ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - great quality, mild taste, perfect texture spider roll ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - had never tried soft shell crab before, this roll was the perfect texture and taste and left us wanting more king snake roll ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - great option if you love raw fish, no fillers and just a small amount of rice, perfect amount of spicy sauce TNT roll ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - great option if you like fried rolls, the tempura batter was very airy and the tuna tataki was the perfect addition on top salmon sashimi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - fresh taste, extremely buttery tuna sashimi ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - tasted fresh and was good enough for us, considering we normally do not like tuna sashimi white tuna sashimi ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - this is escolar, there is no such thing as white tuna. a bit underwhelmed by them using the wrong name as it could cause problems to people with allergies, but it was fresh and tasty

I was able to immediately sit at the bar during lunch time on Sunday, watching the chefs practice their craft. David was the one helping me, and after listening to his expertise I stopped ordering for myself and let him curate the experience. He gifted me the flavor of perfect yellowtail, incredible white tuna, and his own special sauce coated salmon. Watching him slice away any imperfections and present the most beautiful slices of sashimi I've ever seen is an experience I recommend to anyone. In addition to the masterful sushi preparation, I ordered their house hot sake with plum wine; delicious. They also offer a number of kitchen food dishes, I only ordered the fried oysters before I let David take over, but I would rate them among the best I've had (and I mean including papadeaux and babin's in Houston). If you've got some time to really chase a joy of food, I would recommend this restaurant very highly.

Probably some of the most freshest ingredients I’ve had in the area! The concoction of carefully prepared rolls. The great amount of masago covered on top of the REAL crab meat rolls! The fact that they don’t smother unnecessary sauce over my smoked salmon roll so I actually enjoyed the smoky flavor. My favorite was the salmon skin roll, a true crunch texture to balance out the soft texture of the sushi rice. Their beef teriyaki was very nicely cooked! Bite sized, but tender, juicy, and cooked medium. The server was well attentive! They even offer mochi ice cream for dessert! 👌 Some of the only things they could change is maybe more napkins offered at the table (I only received 1, didn’t bother to ask for another) and the hand sanitizer at the front could be a pump instead of a squeeze bottle to prevent cross-contamination. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😄 😋

I feel bad for writing this, but I wanted to leave it so others are aware. Got exposed to this spot when I moved here last winter. Most of my first visits were awesome. Great service, great timing, great quality. Worthy to leave a generous tip. Our most recent outings have been the most unpleasant. It seems as the serving staff has been cut at half. While trying our best to bare with them, this is our final trip. We had arrived before 7PM, and during this period we were only attended to twice: once for drinks and once for an order. Our food took at least 40 minutes to arrive altogether. Once we had finally got our food: our sushi was handled with little to no care. Our shumai was borderline cold, like they microwaved it instead of frying. More and more guests were coming in and they forgot about us eventually. We had only ordered once, and they never even made a few items. We were frustratingly waiting for the check to leave after 1 order, since they didn’t cater to us afterward. When paying the bill, we asked the waiter for a partial discount, or even to pay for items individually , as we did not get the full quality experience of the restaurant. The waiter told us we can offer “18% discount”, which was them just removing the gratuity. They tried to get us to wait for our food a little longer, but one waiter lied about putting an order in, as the previous waiter had reported it was not put it. At this point, I was ready to just pay for all our meals full price and leave. Not sure what happened to this place. I thought they got many...

Absolutely terrible. Right off the bat, took 15 minutes for server to bring us drinks with 8 tables. Misleading descriptions "crab" used on many things is not crab at all, random fillers in things like lettuce in the "spider roll". "Masago" as topping is the worlds smallest dash of eggs and subpar ingredients and they did not/ would not serve a masago roll. Tried to order a simple cucumber roll and asked for cream cheese added and they said it was an extra charge ON THE ALL YOU CAN EAT when nearly every other roll has cream cheese... like holy cow you are already charging $32 a person for mostly rice and a tiiiiny sliver of fish and fake crab. Whatever mayo they use in their sauces is thick and greasy, not japanese mayo. The result of the cheap gross mayo meant all their mayo based sauces were absolutely foul and they put them on things without listing on the menu. I am so dissapointed. Never again. I hope this business closes and i dont say that lightly. This is not sushi, this is a disgrace to japanese food and culture. Oh, and listening the the obnoxious chiming of their take out machine was super cool. At the end of the meal, waited another 10 minutes to get a server to give us our bill. Not worth $80 (100 if you tip them for...
