Valentines dinner service was supposed to be a pleasant experience. My wife and I made a reservation and after a few minutes in the front, we were finally seated by the only waitress for the night. The place was nice and we both complimented the atmosphere and decor. It took 20 mins for the waitress to come grab our drink order and by that time, our food order. She seemed to be the only one up front for a packed venue. The drinks came out shortly after which was a relief, but after we finished with the drinks, she never returned until a set of spring rolls “on the house” came back with her. Without explaining what they were for, we figured it was for the wait since it had been about 1 hour since we arrived. But she didn’t ask us if we wanted anymore drinks or even an update on the food. It then another 20 mins for the food to come out. We were 3 minutes from walking out the door for the lack of service, excessive wait, and ZERO communication. Many people received food before us who were seated after us not to mention the huge amount of takeout orders. Many times, the Uber eats or grub hub drivers were told it would take another 15 minutes to be followed up by an additional 15 minute wait. They got more communication than the people in seats. Moving on, the food was completely sub par for such a well rated restaurant. Our ramen bowls and rolls came out at the same time and the 87 minute marker. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Her roll was nothing more than a pretty plate and mine was a fried roll. Only the center was slightly warm and not crunchy in anyway. This tells me that they nuked it and the constant sound of microwave doors and buttons nearly confirms it. The ramen bowls were completely bland with no flavor at all. The best thing about them was the crazy hot temperature of the broth. All in all, just a crappy experience with a ridiculously long wait without even a happy ending of good food. Horribly under staffed and a complete lack of leadership and communication. If we knew how long things were taking, we would have just paid for the drinks and left to not sit around for an hour and a half before eating. I don’t think we will...

My husband and I ordered from here last week for the first time. He really wanted sushi and I’m not a fan, so we chose YamaChen’s since there were options for both of us. We used their app to order and it was really easy to use and user friendly. They give you the option to customize your meal as well, which is really great. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and chicken yakisoba and my husband got different types of sushi. We were pleased with the quick delivery and how neatly the containers were packed in the bags to avoid spilling and leaking. They also did a good job with labeling each container and we thought the silverware packets were neat. A great marketing tool for their restaurant - a packet with a fork, knife, chopsticks, toothpick and a thick napkin. The presentation was really appealing, even though we ordered for delivery and weren’t even in the restaurant. My food came with the house salad and ginger dressing. My husband said it was a little sweet and even though it was, I still liked it. All of our food had really good flavor and was cooked well. Just the right amount of sauce for the teriyaki and yakisoba. Hubby couldn’t eat all of his sushi and saved one of the containers for the next day. He also liked the miso soup. They even gave us a slice of cheesecake on the house - yum! We’d definitely order again and recommend...

On my way back to the hotel tonight, I stumbled upon a hidden gem—Ohana Sushi. Tucked away in a small strip center, it’s the kind of place you might miss if you’re not looking closely, but trust me, it’s worth finding.

The moment I stepped inside, I was warmly greeted by the staff and seated right away. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and since it wasn’t too busy, the service felt especially attentive and personal.

I started with a cold Sapporo beer and ordered the Special Combo, which includes two specialty rolls. I went with the Spiderman Roll and the Jalapeño Hamachi Roll—both sounded too good to pass up. While I waited, my server brought out a small side of edamame, a nice touch that added to the thoughtful service.

When my sushi arrived, I was genuinely impressed. The presentation was beautiful and appetizing—I couldn't wait to dig in. Every bite delivered on flavor, and the staff checked in often to make sure everything was just right.

To top it all off, they brought me a small bite of chocolate cheesecake at the end—a sweet and satisfying finish to a great meal.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed. Ohana Sushi has the charm of a neighborhood favorite with the quality of a standout spot. I’ll...

Most of their rolls are mostly crab. It's called a "mix" with crab, salmon, tuna, and shrimp. It doesn't say cooked, but it's all cooked. It's mostly crab, like you have to look Real hard to find the tiny flecks of salmon and there is absolutely no tuna. It's not clearly labeled as cooked. My husband and I ordered the boat #1 for $60, we had no idea that all the fish in the rolls is cooked. It's really just $60 for 4 crab salad rolls with sauce. The "real" crabmeat tastes like Chicken of the Sea canned crab. When I confronted the hostess about this she insisted that the dark red flecks were the tuna. If you've ever had cooked tuna then you know it's greyish white, not koolaid red. As far as I'm concerned we were scammed and then lied to. I truly have no idea how this place could be so highly rated. After we settled the bill we went to Nana because we wanted sushi rolls, not crab salad rolls. Also, just think about it, crab salad made with mayo shrimp tuna and salmon ...doesn't even sound good. If you want actual sushi go to Nana. If raw fish grosses you out but you still want sushi, go here. This is the place for you. In the pic is their "mix" spread out you can find the bits of cooked fish.
