Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Sugar Grove Township

I'm not happy at all. Look, chilis is my favorite restaurant. I love going there and doing a certain thing. I get chipotle bbq tenders, fries, egg rolls, and a huge amount of extra chipotle bbq sauce. I put it on everything, put it in the oven, bake it low and glaze it for a while, and eat it, still dipping in the chipotle bbq and ranch. It's heaven to me, tying with one or two other meals for favorite meal ever.

This is why having the large amount of extra sauce is very crucial to me, going to chilis is a special occasion for me and I get very excited, I don’t go often to preserve the novelty and excitement of it.

If I don't get enough sauce, it ruins my entire experience, all the waiting and planning for the right day to go is ruined and it honestly just upsets me.

So when I specifically ask on the phone for 2 large containers of chipotle bbq and 2 large containers of avocado ranch, and say specifically I don’t mean the normal little sauce containers, but I mean the large red ones you get for guac or queso or salsa, and I say this multiple times, confirming on the phone, agreeing even to pay for it, and I pick up the food, quickly rush home to eat it, and I find that I get a few of the small containers of each sauce that aren't even actually filled all the way, some being filled halfway (which because of their shape is actually less than halfway), it ruins my night. I was so excited to enjoy my special meal and it was ruined because of that.

Some people might think it's stupid to have a meal ruined cause you don’t get 2 big containers of extra sauce, maybe the employees think it's a ridiculous thing for me to order, but it's not to me, this is just how I like my food and I think i should be allowed to enjoy it.

But this is what happened to me the other night. I did order late, I apologized for that, the girl was nice to me on the phone, and idk if the kitchen was mad or something or why exactly they didn't give it to me but I didn't get what I asked for.

My food also came out to $82, when I checked online for what the food would've costed, it was like $70 or something like that without the sauces. I witnessed one of the managers who is older woman with a blond bob cut , which I believe I heard that her name is Alyssa; snap her fingers at one the employees and point at a dirty table ordering them to clean it. When the employee didn’t realize she was calling him because she wasn’t using her words but snapping at him, she proceeded to wave and obnoxiously repeat “HELLO?!?” Until the employee turned around. It was very clear that the employee did not speak English and he didn’t fully understand what she was saying especially since she didn’t speak and just snapped and when she did speak she spoke to him very rudely . No one should be treated like absolute garbage, absolutely no one should be treated that way. i also noticed that she only acted this way towards one ethnicity; i noticed this as she went around the restaurant giving customers dirty looks including me and my friend who were the same ethnicity. this is not okay in any situation.this behavior seriously needs to change. Went with my two kids on a Monday evening around 5:30pm and we got sat down right away. But sat at our table for 20-25 mins without no waiter or waitress came to greet us or even say anything to us. It was not busy at all and I saw a waitress just cleaning off two tables in front of us and never looked at us or anything and it looked like we might have been in her section cuz we were the last booth on her side. Then we sat there still a little bit longer then a couple comes in and gets sat at the booth right next to ours and a server comes to them right away. Saying oh I’m glad you came on my shift today so she knew them. So right there we felt Invisible and no one wanted to wait on us. Just cuz that waitress knew them didn’t mean that everyone had to ignore us. So we left. myself and my two kids were soo hungry and that was the worst service I have ever been to. Just wanted to have a nice meal and enjoy my time with my kids but no we couldn’t do that cuz no one wanted to even give us any service or say anything to us. We will never be back!!
