Fanoosh Burgers & Biryani — Restaurant in Sugar Land

My husband and I have been on the hunt for a delicious burger spot and Fanoosh knocked it out of the park! We ordered the classic burgers (1 single patty and the other a double patty) and the meat was cooked to perfection and not dry at all. The patty had a delightful smoky flavor which paired wonderfully with the Fanoosh Sauce and toppings. My only complaint (and this is not the fault of the restaurant) is having an option on DoorDash to specify light sauce or maybe no cheese. Not a big deal but just a preference. Aside from that, 10/10 burger. We also ordered the seasoned fries which had the best flavor! A little spice but not overwhelming. They were a bit soft by the time the order was delivered which wasn't a problem. I reheated the fries for a few mins in our air fryer and they were phenomenal! I am sure they would be perfect if ordered at the restaurant but we did not have the time to dine in this evening. We can't wait to order again and try the several other items on the menu. I loved the variety and options that can cater to any dietary preferences....

My husband and I came here after they announced on Facebook that they launched a Zinger burger. I'm a HUGEEE fan of the original KFC Zinger burger so I'm always on the search for the closest thing to it. Fanoosh's Zinger burger was not anything similar to the original Zinger (even the spices were not Zinger-like) but rather the burger was a chicken fried sandwich. The sandwich itself was decent/so-so, however, the sauces were really good, particularly the Fanoosh sauce (which they charge an extra $1 for if you want any additional sauce). The chicken patty on the sandwich was kind of thin but I wasn't left hungry thanks to the hefty bun size and masala fries. Overall, I left a little unsatisfied. I came in thinking I'd be trying a Zinger burger but instead got a mediocre chicken fried sandwich. However, if you're near the telfair area and want a halal chicken fried sandwich, give them a try. I was recently in this establishment. The staff was very friendly and received fast service.

The food was fair. I ordered the Zinger Chicken Burger. It was a large piece of chicken with a nice crunch on it; however there was no taste to the chicken. I guess the sauce is where the flavor comes from. I like the meat and the sauce to both have flavor. It also had the smallest piece of lettuce on a burger I have ever seen. Was a bit shocked on that one. It's just lettuce. I ordered regular fries (not the seasoned fries). They were also fair. I've had fries from other places that was seasoned with just salt and the taste is excellent. I have no clue other than salt what was missing on them. They just didn't have much taste.

I also thought the hamburger on the kids menu is priced a bit high especially not having fries come with the hamburger.

I may give it another try, but order...
