I don't even know where to begin. I live in Telfair so I expect everything to be nice around me. Subway is about two minutes away from my house, so I enjoy how convenient it is. Went here twice this week around 7:3PM. Both the workers, were rude, did not acknowledge me when I walked in and they made it known that they did not want any customers in the store. I had 5 sandwich's made. The lady worker (always has a stank face), did not even help the man to make my sandwiches. The man took his precious time making my food. Subway closes at 10PM, but why are they closing down and not refilling the food items at 7:30PM? Why did the man lie to me and tell me there wasn't anymore black olives? He didn't even check in the back to see.
Today 10/28, I called several times, FINALLY got an answer. "Hello" says the lady in a rude ghetto voice. Why is she not saying "hello this is subway, my name is..., how can I help you". When I asked her for the managers number, she responds by saying "why" (ghetto rude voice of course". When I told her why she HUNG UP IN MY FACE!!! Why do they have these type of people working here. She clearly does not care about her job and has NO customer service experience. Furthermore, I called several times again and of course no one answered. So I called off a different number and asked for the managers number again. The lady answers and says, "I don't care about my job. I am not giving you the manager or owners number, and now I'm hanging up". If she is not fired within two weeks, I will be taking this to USDA or whomever will be able to resolve the issues I have. Not only are the employees rude, but there was several health violations I saw this week therefore USDA will be contacted. I have attached photos of how filthy the food area...
Read moreI had the oddest experience here today. On 10/22/18 at 7:20 pm, I drove up to find the store lights off and the chairs up on the tables. I still went to the door to see if they had posted a sign explaining why they were closed during normal business hours. I was shocked to see that the lights near the register were on, and two associates were working. The door was unlocked so I asked “are you guys closed?”. The two young ladies looked at each other, started laughing and responded “no”. Neither one bothered to explain the lighting situation.
I found their behavior odd and decided against going in. I am writing this review from my car, and at least 5 other cars have pulled up and left thinking that the location is closed.
Being a manager myself, I decided to call the store and ask why the lights were out. I asked the lady on the phone about the lights and once again, all I heard was the two ladies laughing. And then a lame excuse: the lights in the lobby were acting up, so we decided to keep them off. I hope the manager or Subway corporation see this review and get to the...
Read moreHave been here before, inconsistent experience is the norm and not unexpected, sadly. Went in last night to pick up an order for several sandwiches that was placed online. There was no one in line and there was one person starting on my order. The person making my order, Ryan, was meticulously making all of the sandwiches from start to finish including checking me out. The thing that is aggravating to see is that while Ryan was working hard to make the order and make it right (as he is a new hire- I asked because he was slower but detailed-oriented), was that the other employee was sitting on the counter on his phone the entire time not helping one bit, totally checked out on his device and had zero interest in supporting his team mate and obviously no interest in being in a service-oriented industry. Kudos for Ryan getting it done, but the other guy should be fired as this type of employee is toxic and will only kill team moral and frustrate customers. Keep the hard worker, boot the slacker looser... Customer service...
