Hutson Texas. Only the most magical place on Earth. I, Adam Smith, took my family of 13, to this McDonalds just off the Hustson Texas road to enjoy a nice family owned restaurant meal. As a Smith, we take pride in our familyâs food so going to this McDonalds in Huhstun Texas was the right call. My 6 quarter pounders lasted no longer than a white wine mom with a pepper flake, boy did I take these down. The only thing I didnât take too kindly to were the stares and judgmental attitude by the staff. Things like âsir arenât you going to feed your family?â And âsir if you have one more youâll go into cardiac arrestâ really didnât sit well with me. I get it, all of my children and wife were crying out in hunger pain but that doesnât give them the right to tell me how to live my life. Iâm in Hugstun Texas baby! Iâm a free man with a BB gun and a beer! Even so, I enjoyed my little patties and ate like the cows done ran away. One more thing, I really took a liking to the convincing Ronald McDonald! Sure he was about 10 miles away from the restaurant but he sure as hell gave me and my family a scare! During our 12 mile walk to the Hudhson Texas McDonalds, we ran into this kind and deranged fellow. He offered my kids food and shelter but those critters couldnât get away that easily! The minute they began to follow Ronald, I simply pulled at their backpack leashes and rained those little suckers on in. No one gets out of our nightly family trip to McDonalds! Anyhow thatâs all I gotta say about this place, thank you for feeding my family for the...
Read moreGood: The playground and space for the kids. The bad: If you order from the app and add a table number, don't always expect them to bring you the food. We were with our number in the Play area and the order was taking too long. I went to ask the cashier, and he said that it was ready long time ago. My food was already cold. Why ask for table delivery as an option if they don't always bring it to you? Bad: A Hispanic lady in blue was walking with a lady. Seemed to be training her. The cashier was busy helping someone else. I asked the Hispanic lady if they had sundaes. She said she didn't know what they were. I explained. She then said I think we do. She went behind the register and asked me if they already took my order. I said no. At this time I didn't want to use the app because I didn't see the sundaes in the app. I thought to just pay at the register to be quicker. I ordered the sundaes to the Hispanic lady, and she told me they don't take orders at the register anymore. Everything is ordered through the app or at the computers. I asked her why, and she said that's what she tells everyone and how it's done now. I didn't believe that, because everywhere else you have options. She walked away asking for supervisor. She then told me cashier was coming. I told cashier about what Hispanic lady said, and she was surprised too. I hope she told her supervisor that for me. It's not ok to make your own rules. What if I have trouble reading or I'm disabled? Is she telling everyone this? I ask supervisor to please...
Read moreI donât generally bother with reviewing fast food places, itâs just fast food the whole point is to have a consistent experience in terms of taste, quality and service with some highs and lows here and there. This is at the extreme bottom. Why? Because even the manager didnât bother to correct the order or entertained us for more than 30 seconds.
I have visited maybe 30 to 50 different McDonaldâs locations through Canada and USA as I am frequently on the road, this was the worst. My brother and I walked and order 3 coffees, one small and two mediums. Waited 15 minutes for it to show up and nothing. When I asked about the order they are like oh yeah itâs being made. Then the manager comes back and asks what was your order? (Clearly lost the order) I gave them the receipt. I saw them making my coffee from a pot that was still brewing (if you donât know the pot has to fully brew otherwise itâs not fully extracted and tastes bad). Anyways, they bring our order a whole 30 minutes, itâs THREE coffees, how bad can you fumble this? The coffees werenât marked for sugar or cream, AND one of the medium cups was half full. Didnât bother with filling the cup, and just pointed randomly at the coffee cups saying this one has sugar and this one doesnât (both of them didnât have sugar). Non existent customer service! Usually the managers are able to resolve the issue but they could literally care less.
McDonalds USA should take training from McDonaldâs Canada to see...
