The food was decent, and the guy helping us was trying very hard. The manager walked into the kitchen with something in her hand spitting into a container. I was like wow. She then proceeded to start walking around the kitchen pulling things out of the freezer below and slamming the containers onto the countertops and then slamming the freezer doors. This happened repeatedly over about 12 minutes, while they were making our two pizzas and two salads.
That made no sense to me why she would be putting things down on the countertop and knowing that her employee was in the process of making pizzas and salads simultaneously having to move around these containers. The whole time she was telling him off and walking around with an attitude talking about I can’t do everything alone, while her employees we’re busy helping customers or doing prep work while she complained, loudly. The store manager or the owner of this franchise should be ashamed to have such a bad shift manager treating his or her employees like this. To make it worse, all of this happened in front of customers for a prolonged time. I kept thinking to myself if I was one of his employees I would instantly quit and walk off. Her behavior was both apalling and ridiculous. I honestly wanted to cancel the order but he was already in the process of making it. I recommend going anywhere else other than coming here to watch an abusive manager put on this type of display in front...
Read moreFirst and last time at this place. Placed an online order for pick up. Said it would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived at the location on time, the place was getting busy by the minute. 4 employees on the floor. As it was my first time I went to one of the staff and asked about the protocole to follow when you place an order online. She said she’d call my name. I waited and waited and WAITED for 20 minutes for a freaking cheese pizza!!! When I finally got back to the counter I noticed that none of the tickets up had my name on them ans I saw the pizzas that were put in the oven and none of them were mine. I asked the lady who made them how much longer it would take and she blatantly ignored me. I then asked a young lady who just happened to clock in while I was standing there. She offered to make the pizza for me if I still wanted it. At this point I really wanted to cancel but my kids were waiting on this pizza. I still had to wait an extra 15 minutes for it. Mind you My order mentioned different cheeses but I only got a mozzarella on sauce pizza. But at this point I just wanted out. When it was finally ready the pizza just sat there for a few minutes before it was handed to me. About 40 minutes for a basic looking cheese pizza. I’ve...
Read moreVisited here after a movie. It's only 2 minutes away from First Colony Theatre, which was nice. We've never had Mods. It was late, around 10pm, and we were the only customers there. Upon entering, there was no acknowledgment or greeting of any kind. No "Hi, welcome to Mods" or "we will be right with you." We just kinda stood there waiting to be assisted. There were at least 2-3 staff members visible. The toppings area was messy and mixed together😐. I eat with my eyes 1st! So, we were about to walk out. Then a young guy walked up with a warm smile, put on some gloves, and said, "Hello, what can I get for you guys?". The pizza won me over!! It was the star of the show! They charge by the size, not the toppings. So, I had a moutain of veggies, and my partner had all the meats. It was delicious, to say the least! I will be returning!! So, I signed up for their points program and got a free dessert on the spot. We ordered 2 pizzas (med-large 8-10 slices), as many toppings as we wanted for only $20. Can't beat it! Atmosphere was chill, spacious seating, nice music, and beverage options. My only suggestion is: "be more attentive, welcoming, and keep toppings...
