It was my first time here and the concept is pretty cool! Dinner pricing is 27.45 per person, but it's inclusive of not only the buffet but also their to-order kitchen menu (called Sweet Kitchen), desserts, drinks, and more. You add what you want from the buffet to a large bowl and then order the soup at your table. Then, the server takes your large bowl to the kitchen and cook it for you and bring it back to your table. They also have a ramen station, refrigerated drinks (peach tea, mango milk tea, matcha, coconut water, etc.) and hot teas (oolong/barley/jasmine/green tea), various Korean foods at the buffet (Korean fried chicken, seafood/veggie pancakes, japchae, etc.) as well as rice and other soups! I tried their peach tea with lychee and it reminds me of the Asian jellies you find at the supermarket! It's very refreshing but a little on the sweet side for my preference. We also ordered some items from the kitchen (included in the pricing but by order only) including tangsuyuk, bulgogi kimbap, and the pork belly ssam (lettuce wraps). I really liked the first two, but I thought the pork belly ssam was a little bit too salty and overcooked. For dessert, we also ordered bingsu and the portion size is great for individual servings. They also have a station by the buffet to personalize your bingsu with toppings. I really enjoy the variety that this place offers! My friend has been here once for lunch and for dinner, and she honestly prefers the lunch menu for the price ($18.45 M-F; $20.45 weekends/holidays) and the only things they exclude for lunch are some of the Sweet Kitchen items (ssam, some of the sweet pot special plates, etc.) I do like the way this place is set up, and they also store straws and chopsticks in a side drawer at your table. Overall, I think this is worth the price, especially if you're eating with a lot of friends who have different food preferences or enjoy a lot of variety. I would visit again 😌 but I'll probably try lunch next time!

Quite a selection of things to try. The Sweet Pot's food is a mixture of bar food, street food and dishes you'll see at korean restaurants. We tried a little bit of everything, but definitely ask the waiter of how it all works because it is daunting the first time you see it all. You can create your own ramen from their ramen bar, then build a "sweet pot" mix of your own choices you grab from the main bar(vegetables, meats, tteokbokki). From there, the waiter will take it back and prepare your dish with your choice of sauce/soup. The snack choices had french fries that you can flavor yourself, fried cheese, korean pancakes, kimbap, jap chaeand even potato corndogs. Definitely try the korean fried chicken and Ssam(you can order from the menu with your waiter). You can finish off the meal with Bingsu, or shaved milk ice with toppings you choose at the bar. There is also milk tea and drinks, we didn't realize until we already had drinks ordered that you have to get these from the buffet area. Overall, I give it four stars. Standouts were the ssam dishes, swwet pot selection and the sweet pot special plates on the menu. The food variety is interesting, but it does lean on the heavy side with fried foods. Some food felt like it was out awhile, like the buns, so they were dry when we tried them. It is still soft-opening so I'm sure they can become better with practice.

Just visited during their soft opening last week. We were welcomed to this new AYCE Korean Hot Pot and then some. Located right off the southwest freeway and Williams trace. Love the new restaurants and stores that are opening in this center.

Sweet pot has a fun ambiance with each table containing a bell to call your waiter. The waitress showed up the menu and how everything worked. They have freshly brewed hot teas in warming pots to keep hot. There was jasmine tea, black tea, oolong, and barley tea. Next to it is a fridge full of various milk tea from the classic to taro, matcha, and mango. There was also passion fruit tea.

In addition to their buffet line of ingredients for your hot pot, they also had Gimbap, kimchi, korean noodles (japchae), Bulgogi pizza, tempura vegetables, and korean pancake. There's definitely more classic korean dishes that I'm sure to have forgotten to mention.

There's multiple options of broth you can choose from. After selecting your ingredients or toppings for your k pot, you will inform your waiter of the broth you die desire. We tried the Bulgogi and the rose mala tteokbokki. Both quite flavorful and enjoyable.

I love the various stations available. There is a korean Hotdogs station with all the dressings. There's a "Shake & fries" station to season your own fries. Then there's the Ramen station where you pick your own ramen packet, place it in a bowl under their nifty machine that spits out hot water to prepare your ramen. If you want to try various instant ramen, come here! Then add the toppings to your desire from the bar. Finally, there's the dessert station to dress your ice cream or shaved ice. You would order your dessert from the waiter and go to the station to top with syrups, fruit, and crumbles of cookies or cereal. There's also korean rice cake Waffle that you can also customize.

On top of the buffet line, they have their kitchen menu. These options are ordered with your waiter and prepared in the kitchen. We went with suggestions by our waiters, which all were excellent. My favorite was the pork belly lettuce wraps. The chili shrimp was huge and perfectly coated with the sweet chili sauce. Of the cupbop, I chose the Bulgogi, which was yummy, but be careful filling up on the cupbop (contains rice that will fill you up quick). The Ddeok galbi was also really good and served with their Savory white sauce.

Sweet pot has so many options to try that it was impossible to try everything so it will be taking me a few visits to get through it all. So far, everything looks and tastes great. I'm not sure how long the soft opening promo of 15% if going on so...
