I actually really hate to leave this review as I have been a long time customer and would actually get food 2/3 times a week as well as having a membership with them. Was my favorite place to eat and this location was the closest one. I haven’t been feeling well so my mom went to go pick us up some food today. When she got home she realized that they gave us the wrong soup. We even checked the receipt. No big deal! So she drove back back and instantly the employee said “Isn’t that the right soup” very rudely. After another employee corrected her they took back the wrong soup and corrected it. My mom then kindly asked if she could get some sort of compensation for all the time it took and having to drive all the way back. Apparently the manager was busy because only the employees would talk to her but they relayed that the manager said her compensation would be the cup of soup she had already paid for. Listen I understand having a bad day. I’m a veterinary assistant so I have stressful days all the time however they continued to smile at her as she drove away even when she said that they had lost a customer. Who does that!?!? She was very calm and they took advantage of that and decided to be rude. Will never ever go back to this location. Same thing happened last year and they refunded us for our meal. I mean we would’ve been happy with a coupon or even an apology. Horrible horrible horrible customer service. Really went downhill guys. Super disappointed. Read moreIt seems like every time I come here they are out of something that I try to order (like a bread bowl for my soup, their baguettes, one of the soups advertised for that day, mac and cheese, etc.). It's always something. But if they would just make more, I would have no problem. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is nice, and the food is great. Usually when I come here, though, I want something in particular (I'm pregnant, so really I go wherever I can get whatever I'm craving) and half the time they are out of whatever I specifically came there for. It's always so disappointing. And it usually isn't even very late when I'm here (like 6-7 ish) so they are still open for a few more hours. I would understand if it was close to closing time, but if you run out hours before closing, shouldn't you make more? I would be more than willing to wait a few extra minutes to get what I ordered. If they would just do that, I would definitely give 5 stars because I love everything else...
Read moreThis place is just awful. I’ve been trying to give them chances but in the last 6 months every order I’ve had has been wrong in some way.
Today I got the wrong items in my order (a frequent occurrence if I’m ordering anything more than a coffee and a pastry) but last time I order their breakfast I got 2 raw bagels in their advertised Asiago Bagel sausage and egg breakfast sandwich. Literally a featured item and the bagel was raw.
I really wish they’d have closed this one and not the one at downtown Centerville but I get it’s a more convenient location with better parking and a drive-thru for the daily commute and I’m fully convinced that is the only reason this place is still standing. They should have brought in the manager and crew from the one they closed to fix this.
I’d drive twice as far to get it right but they closed that store. And there isn’t any other option out here for deli style food. Really a shame because whatever that store would be would quickly put this place out...
