I recently had the pleasure of getting my haircut at Sports Clips, and I must say, Klancie is an absolute gem of a stylist! Read moreHad a terrible experience at this Sports Clips. I understand that wait times vary due to lunch breaks, minimal staff, and other factors, however, my experience today was terrible. After checking into the store 11:34 am, it was suggested my wait time would be 52 minutes. I arrived at the store at 12:20 pm and my wait time had been pushed back by another 35 minutes. Once it was stated that I was “On Deck,” John grabbed another customer who was not on deck, but had a wait time of 20 minutes. Obviously I was frustrated, however, I chose to wait. At 1:00 pm, I was back “On Deck.” After John had finished with another customer, I was preparing to get called. John called a different customer again, who was not on “The Lineup” board or checked-in. Out of frustration, I decided to leave the store, due to being skipped 2 times. To add, these customers had not requested John, and were labeled First Available, same as me. This is not out of the ordinary for this location. Read moreI've had to walk out of this place two days in a row now. I also noticed recently over the last year that they cannot keep a stylish longer than what appears to be a couple of months. Finally get someone to cut your hair correctly and the next time you go in they're gone. I've also seen the lobby packed with customers and then a free hairstylist just up and go to lunch. I'm not saying that someone is not entitled to a lunch break, however should take care of those who are waiting reduce the weight time before stepping out it looks completely unprofessional. And don't bother in paying any attention to the countdown and on deck board to let you know how long you should be waiting, This is nothing but false hope.
