BEAUTIFUL inside the restaurant. Romeo is the manager & nephew of Tony, the owner. Patty was our waitress and did a great job taking care of us. Food was delicious & fast service.

SECOND VISIT: El Viejo Tony means "ole man Tony," We met him last night. It was Friday and the place was packed & noisy with all the people having a good time. Our waiter was Julio Reyes and he was excellent & a lot of fun. Food, drinks, & services were perfect. Locatio ns are Sulphur, DeRidder, Beaumont, Port Arthur & another location in Texas under a different name.

THIRD VISIT: 90TH Birthday for a friend of ours. Julio, our waiter, had them sing HAPPY birthday to our friend. The food was great!! Salsa & black bean dip are GREAT too!!!¡¡¡

FOURTH VISIT!! Good shrimp nachos, Jalapeño spiced margaritas were awesome if you like'em hot! My current wife had the taco salad which she had plenty left to bring home. Julio, my favorite waiter, had the day off, so he missed his TIP!!

5th VISIT - May 5th, 2025 Cinco De Mayo - Julio was our waiter for 8 women and me! The food was great & and the service was too!

6TH VISIT - Tried the fajitas for 1st time & they were good. Bell peppers could have been sliced thicker. 3 kinds of dip and all were good & the chips. Free ice cream on the way out!

7th VISIT - Fried stuffed avocado was really good. Tortilla soup was ok. Waiter Julio was perfect, too!!! Free ice cream on the way out, vanilla,...

First time coming here.it has a nice atmosphere, and the staff was friendly. I had the fajitas Diablo for one,and my date had the stuffed avocado. The quality of the food was good, however the portions were very small.the fajitas for one was more like kids sized portions..the large cheese dip with ground beef was very small and was 12.00 dollars.when my fajitas were brought to me I noticed they didn't include tortillas, when asked I was told my meal didn't come with tortillas. Fajitas with no tortillas? And when I asked for some I noticed a separate charge for the tortillas. In all our two dinners, one cheese dip ,one tea,and two margaritas were 115.00.in all its a nice place, and food is good, but WAY OVERPRICED!! Especially for the portions, so for that reason I don't see...

We just left this place about 10 minutes ago. Their beer is over 6 dollars for a bottle which is insane in my opinion. We thought it was Mexican food but it's tex-mex. And food was high for a tex-mex place, 23 bucks for pork chops. We could have dealt with the food price if the beer wasn't so dang high. So we paid for two sweet teas that we didn't take a sip out of our straws were still by the cup, I dropped 10 bucks because I didn't want to wait for the $2.80 cent change. Again it's not even authentic Mexican and I ain't paying over $6 for a little bottle of coors. We definitely ain't going back and will stick with our other Mexican place in town. I know us not going back won't do anything or change nothing but still wanted to...

We stopped here last weekend for lunch. We were immediately greeted by friendly staff as we walked in, seated, and Hector came to introduce himself as our server. He was well versed in the menu options and had lots of suggestions. We ordered the steak queso for an appetizer, delicious. We had the chicken queso and the happy plate for entrees. Absolutely incredible. My tortillas were obviously hand made fresh. Everything was clean, the atmosphere was nice, and prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this spot, it's my new favorite!!

We enjoyed the lunch fajita plate. Also we had the fresh made guacamole that they make and serve at your table. The mix queso was really good too. I haven’t been to a restaurant where they serve beans with your chips, this one did! The kids ordered the pizza and fries (looked like the pizzas from school when we were little). The chips were colorful (green, yellow, red). They did not serve any sour cream with our plate but other than that, it was plenty good. Homemade tortillas had to be the best.
