Mazzio’s Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Sulphur

The place was clean including bathroom. The manager on duty was exceptionally good. She tried her best to see my family & I enjoyed our meal. Sorry to say the food was lacking, had no flavor. I'm not sure if the cooks just couldn't keep up with all the orders from pick-up & the drive-thur. We ate inside because we had alot to feed. We sent our pizza's back because it was over cooked ( like burnt all over). Shoulda taken a pic but I was thinking more about my family. Just hoping they'd get half full. The Calzone was so over cooked the inside filling looked more like they used tomato paste instead of the pasta sauce The cheesy bread with ranch & marinara sauce was the most decent. So when they offered us a couple new pizzas. The kids & adults ask for more cheesy bread & sauces. Here's to good. I & a couple others enjoyed the nice & very fresh salad bar. Plus the manger did deducted some from our final bill. Our waiter was very attentive & he deserved his tip. Bless his heart he really went out of his way to make sure our table was clean from used plates. He refilled our drinks. I give 3 stars only because of how these 2 employees went above & beyond. After Covid is completely over We'll it give it another try in hopes that the food will improve. The service was good not the Pizza...

The WORST Mazzio's I have ever stepped foot in...... I love Mazzio's so when I see one I stop...... I stopped at Sulphur, Ok for the lunch bufett. It was 11:45 am when I got there hardly any people we're inside. It's dirty the floor is dirty the cooks are wearing jeans that are filthy looked like they had been laying under a car working on it for a week and decided to come to work.. The service was bare minimum.... There were 6 employees working but none to be found when needed something. I sit here and watched two people turn around and walk out because no body come to wait on them then another man just walked behind the counter got him a plate and helped his self. The pizza was not done the dough was still pretty much dough with some sauce and topping throwerd on it the salad bar was nasty and empty. No pizza to choose from and when asked if they would cook one they said Buffett was almost over.....?? Almost most over at 12 noon?! Seriously! I get there are 5 people in here but we all paid for a Buffett and we're are...

Called to see if they have a salad bar and was told they only do buffets during the morning... Got here, salad bar is open, she pockets money from the register from the customers in front of me (which could have been a tip) then I order.

Two AYCE salad buffets and two drinks. She says $16.40. when my card receipt comes through she charged $17. (Ok so I'll believe that's taxes, that's fine.) Then she gets rude that I didn't put a tip on the paperwork since she was the person I talked to when I called about if they had a salad bar. She huffs and rolls her eyes as I hand her the receipt.

Look I'm not saying she doesn't deserve a tip but if you're only taking orders, not even taking pizzas to tables or filling the salad bar, you should have to share that tip with the rest of the workers that ARE doing those things.

She would rather have a conversation with another customer than take the orders of people in line. So Mazzios owners, you should probably do some retraining. That's all I have to say.
