Panda Express — Restaurant in Summerfield

My experience at this Panda Express today was terrible! Ever again will I come here. I placed an online order today and it said it’ll be ready @9:55. So, I came to the location exactly @9:55 and they had already locked the doors and were cleaning. I just knocking on the door telling them I have an order and all they did was laugh and kept giving me signs they were closed. So I waited at the door because someone eventually had to come out. Mind you they had already took the money out my card. 10 mins later someone finally came to the door. I was explaining myself with him not listening to me I asked for the manager. When I came in everyone looked like chickens with there heads cut off not being about to solve my problem. I showed them the confirmation number, gave them my name and phone number. The guy went to the back and came out with no solution! I proceeded to asked for the managers information. Then they tell me bye. I stand there and tell them “ so what about my money that you guys already took?”. Finally the guy gave me a plate of what I had ordered. This was a headache and inconvenience for me. Nobody should have to go thru so much just to get what they ordered and have paid for! Please hire new staff this...

Notable highlights include the superb quality of the food, and the staff's ability to effectively manage their time during lulls in customer traffic to attend to other restaurant tasks.

The manager, Destini, left a lasting impression as a kind and genuine individual who exemplified professionalism in her interactions with both customers and colleagues. I was so impressed with my experience that I would readily return to the area solely for the opportunity to dine at this establishment again.

First visited here a month ago the day I moved to the area from out of state. Held the door open for another customer as I went in to pick up my mobile order and the man rushed to the counter screaming at the girl behind the counter because apparently the drive thru got his order wrong and when she asked him to calm down and put on his mask due to COVID-19 restrictions he got angrier and more hostile. Another employee, the manager Ray, immediately rushed over to calm the man down and once he was calm and had everything under control he took care of his issues personally and firmly informed him that while he was happy to help, if he were to ever threaten his employees ever again he would kick him out and call the police. Excellent leadership with care for the customer and the safety of the employees. He was super friendly as we talked afterwards and gave me an upgraded meal due to the wait on orange chicken and the situation that went down when I entered. Not only is the food better than nearby Panda Express stores, but the team is clearly a well-oiled machine. I have been coming back here at least 1-2 times a week since...
