I went to this store today and the service was horrible. I wanted to purchase 1 bag of kings Charcoal but apparently they only sell them in 2 pks. I didn't know this because the bags on display were all individually stacked. I grabbed one and some lighter fluid and proceeded to the purchase counter at self checkout. A employee stopped me to tell me I had to buy 2 bags and I said I only want one bag. They continued to argue me down insisting that I must buy 2 bags. I asked for the manager because I mentioned to the employee that the bags are literally on display as individual bags. There was no sign stating that the bags were for sale in packs of 2. I felt the store was trying to force me to buy more than what I needed because there wasn't a sign listing the price and that they were sold in 2s. The manager eventually came over and told me I had to buy 2 or pay for 2 and take one bag. So I said ok fine just get me out of here I paid for the charcoal and fluid and I asked him if he could help me get another bag as the bags are heavy and there were no carts available due to memorial day shoppers taking up the carts. He said he could call someone to help me but it would be about 15 minutes before anyone would help. Sir excuse me? You're literally standing here doing NOTHING why couldn't you help me to carry these bags seeing as though I also had my 3 yr old autistic son with me struggling and I was struggling to carry the bag and handle my toddler who is clearly special needs! Smh whoever that manager is needs additional customer service training or needs NOT to be working for this company. He clearly ignored the fact I had my special needs child and needed immediate assistance and outright refused to assist me HIMSELF with my bags.. NEVER AGAIN will I shop at this location. Very ghetto and the store is a mess on the regular (hence the bags of charcoal not being bounded together properly on display to be sold as a pack of 2). Do better please train your staff and management in customer service and helping those with special needs & keep the store clean with items placed neatly and correctly w/price...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJuly 3, 2020, I purchased LG appliances...a stove microwave and refrigerator...each month I was given a different delivery date and each month, it was moved to the following month...I was told by LG, to go to HD, to see if I could get the stove and the microwave as the refrigerator, was the hold up. I went to HD and and requested it and was told that the order had to be canceled and reordered...if I did that the new order would push my appliances, back further...well my appliances arrived today November 28th....I am soo through with Home Depot...my refrigerator is sitting in my livingroom because I was not told that if the water line cut off valve was not in back of the fridge, they could not install I... the microwave is also in my livingroom...I called HD today and asked to speak to a manager, I explained the situation to her and told her that the valve vline information, was not explained to me...she proceeds to tell me, we don't know your house, that's something that you should know..I told her that I spend all this money and this infromation should have been explained and I could have have my end done, when my delivery arrived...she was not professional at all..I was soo upset from waiting since July 3rd and my appliances are sitting in my livingroom, that I broke down crying..I'm done with HD, I will be contacting the corporate office...the store that I purchased my appliances from was the Hampton Mall, Capital...

Jan.2017 placed carpet consultation order almost 2 weeks never happened got the run around clearly nobody has ANY idea what they are doing. Got a refund and drove 20 min away to another home depot to get the job done.....sn: spoke to the manager (white guy...dont knOW his name) got a blank stare and zero f** 8/2017 Came for carpet padding... (Small roll) they where out...had to drive 20 min to another store. 9/2017 came for carpet padding...still none.. I ask for help nobody comes to the asile. I stand behing Kiyah at the service counter ( with the braids)5 min later... she turns around SO RUDE to ask me "what do u need"..with this annoyed look on her face. I say " i need help in flooring" ( we are standing directly in front of the asile) she says "Whats the asile #"?? At this point in SUPER IRRITATED! (Uv work here u should know + if not.... EVERYONE CAN THE BIG ASS SIGN THAT SAYS "FLOORING #3) Sn: Now its been 15 min nobody shows up.... I ask for the manager.... Hes in the process of helping someone else with another screw up. I ask for corporate # he gave it to me and again gave zero cares why i wanted the #... Even gave me kayas name without even asking me what happened.
