Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Summerlin South

Unfortunately I had to delete my great review from a few days ago because of my bad experience, Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Multiple visits including this one, a female employee lacked customer service, and a male employee who has made or handed me my sandwich lacked customer service specifically with me. Also yesterday's comp sandwich had clear liquid dripping out of it. My phone was dead, so I could not video tape it or take a picture of it. The flavor of the sandwich still tasted the way it should. I saw a male employee come from a different room/area and put gloves on, and start preparing food. I don't know if he washed his hands. I saw another male employee go from the register, to the back, climb a latter, then return to the register. I don't know if he washed his hands. He gave me a dirty look, twice. That same worker then had small talk, smiled, offered me a larger cup for ice that I politely declined. But as I sat and ate, I overheard him tell another employee, "Girl. Why you acting like Mariah Carey but you homeless." Fortunately I know who I am at all times! I was dressed very neatly and carrying a large gym bag. I left a big beautiful house in a gorgeous Summerlin neighborhood, that was a bad living situation, and yesterday was day three of being unsheltered. Wow. I rarely ever feel the need to leave a review, especially at a fast food restaurant, but their staff was spectacular on my first visit to this location. Not only were they warm, engaging, and accommodating, but the sandwich was perfectly put together. It wasn't that the staff did anything otherworldly; they just did what they were supposed to do properly and with a smile on their faces. I wanted to especially highlight Team Member Nicole for her utmost professionalism and for showing that there is a difference between showing up for work and being the best employee you can be day in and day out. Thank you for a great and quick stop, not only have I reaffirmed my love for Jersey Mikes, but I can confidently say that out of all the locations throughout the U.S. let along Vegas, this is a top-tier, creme de la creme, Jersey Mikes location. Just another example of how important it is to hire the right people who want to show up to work. Consistently great sandwiches. People are always professional, super friendly, and efficient. Attention to detail is very noticeable and appreciated.

UPDATE: I have gone to a number of Jersey Mike's locations and have always had a great sub (and overall experience). Although I have moved farther away, I still go to the Flamingo location most of the time because, based on my personal experience, they make the best subs and are always the most professional, efficient, and friendly. Today, Nicole was kind enough to answer a number of questions re: the different kinds of meat and also positioned the meat and cheese so precisely (across the center of the bread as well as having a consistent amount of overlap between the meat and cheese) that I started to laugh for some reason. The amount of lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and mayo is always just right with complete and even coverage across the bread. The attention to detail is insane.
