I’ve wanted to visit this place for a while as the location is convenient and the interior seemed cool (probably one of the most upscale places in Downtown Summerlin area) but my first experience was a failure. - Food: It was Taco Tuesday so I ordered the 2 pcs of chicken Tacos. The meat was a bit overcooked which made it dry. Too bad I liked the seasoning. The worst part was the taco shells that were incredibly chewy & rubbery! As the tacos were served with some white sauce on outside the shell (see the pictures), I couldn't grab them with hands so I tried to cut them with a knife more than 10 times each time cutting. I felt like it was leftover from last night being exposed in the air a long time. It was nice they serve FREE nachos with salsa. The sauce tasted like store-bought though. - Ambience: The interior is very trendy and classy, loved the dark with dim lightings and Chandeliers. It felt more like a bar/lounge than a restaurant. The small tall tables were too close to each other and the chair was not comfortable. They played lounge music which I liked. I think it will be better to enjoy for drinks at night like a date night, a girls night or a birthday gathering. There is an adult-only lounge area I haven’t been to. - Service: The host was friendly and promptly took us to a table. The waiting staff was average. Been checked a couple of times if there is anything we needed. A bit slow at times. - Hygiene: Utensils and cups were clean. - Price: It was Taco Tuesday so the 2 pcs of Taco was $9 but normal menus were a bit higher price point. - Location: It is in the shopping zone which is near West Elm, Crate& Barrel, Gap, Lulu Lemon and Farmers Market. So it is good to eat before/after shopping. - Parking: There is no dedicated parking space so had to street parking. - Etc.: Heard there are waits often so I suggest to get a reservation. [Will I be back?] To be honest, I disappointed in this Mexican themed bar/restaurant couldn't impress me with such tacos. As a Vegas local, this won't be a repeated place for myself but I would give it another try if there is anyone wants to try some cocktails and photos for Instagram when I am in the area lol

I went here for a Christmas brunch reservation with my girls. It was my first time here along with one of the girls, our other gf is the one who suggested it because I'm so in love with Beauty and the Beast and the restaurant is decorated with the enchanted rose. It was so adorable! Tbh, I was surprised with how spacious the area is because there is the "dining room" and the "lounge." Both had perfect ambience & hey, you're by the bar in the lounge. We had no idea that on Christmas day they offered a brunch menu. We ended up all ordering the same thing! We were actually shocked that the appetizer, which was the sweet and savory board was ONE BOARD PER PERSON. We didn't expect that all, bc we really thought we were just going to share it. Once it arrived, we were in for a surprise. I ended up saving the bacon from the board to place in my salad which was also a big portion! The sweet and savory board was delicious & just with the Birria taco alone, it was filling for me. I only ate one taco, a couple bites of the languinisa & had a bite of the sweet waffle bread pudding (that was bomb, saved it to take home), and the cookies. The 2nd course was the green salad, which I liked a lot and thankfully saw that I had bacon on my board & knew that wouldn't be crunchy as a leftover so I ate it with the green salad. It was just your basic salad but a good serving of it! I ended up only taking one bite of each for my surf & turf Benedict esp since I wanted to taste how they mixed the lobster & meat. I was not disappointed for sure! It tasted better at night when I ate it as a leftover since it marinaded. Definitely will come back for date night with my bf. Also...forgot to mention...my favorite part of the brunch was the El Jefe which was basically a Horchata rum & it was just delicious! If I wasn't driving, I would've had more lol DRINK RESPONSIBLY! Our service was really good as well. Our server did a really good job with the table check & also realizing right away we would be packing some food to clear space in our table. It was a good experience and I'm glad our friend decided on the place!

I wish I had a much better experience while visiting La Neta. We came in eager and excited to try the food and drinks and we were greatly disappointed. We stopped by on Sunday for dinner around 6:30pm. It was 6 of us in total and we waited about 15/20mins for a table, no biggie. We sat in the dining room area (not the corner bar) and sat facing the restaurant bar. It’s beautifully decorated and has a very nice layout. Awesome, we’re excited. We sat for about 15 minutes before our waitress approached us with menus. She offered us water options and we chose bottled water. We waited for another 10mins before water arrived and by then, we were all ready to order our food. We ordered the guacamole with chicharróns and the birria empanadas as appetizers and ordered our food as well. The empanadas came out first and aside from being a bit cold, they were okay and by the time the waitress came around to tell her, we had forgotten and only asked her for the missing guacamole and chicharróns, she said it takes a while because they have to fry the chicharróns. Okay, no worries, we understand. They also bring you chips and salsa but that arrived right before our appetizers. We ordered their house taco plates, both chicken and asada tacos, chicken enchiladas plate, the pozole and a few sides of the street corn along with drinks. One taco plate came out cold, the other one was wrong (brought steak vs chicken), and the pozole *literally* only had 5 pieces of hominy and a bunch of onion. The street corn was cold and extremely sour as if it was drenched in lemon. A few people also ordered shots and when they come out, our waitress said the ingredient container she brought out was empty but brought them out either way. The shots tasted like a fruit punch with no alcohol. Just an overall bad experience from waiting a long time for everything, to our food being cold, and then using the dirty bathrooms when we left.

Great food, terrible service (yes, the service really is that bad). Do not recommend.

I read the reviews and thought it couldn't be that bad could it? We are going on a Sunday, it should be slow, so it can't be bad. But it was. The first sign there was trouble was when we waited an extended time after seating to get the menu. I don't remember how long exactly but it was noticeably long. Then after we ordered appetizers and drinks we waited 20 minutes to get our drinks! The drinks were amazing but 20 minutes is too long!. Then 5 minutes after we got our drinks we were informed that one of the two appetizers that we ordered was out! We understand that happens but 20-30 minutes after we ordered is too long to wait to be informed. Sometime after we got our one appetizer (which was super tasty) we were informed that the entree we ordered was out of stock! At this point we had been there for an hour and had only gotten one set of drinks and one appetizer. Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that it was 9:30 on a Sunday and pretty much everything else in the area was closed, we would have left. We managed to pick something else that was actually available and mercifully sent to our table relatively quickly (it was also, super tasty). We paid and were out the door by 9:55 to catch a 10 pm movie.

We were there a little over an hour and a half and had managed to only be served one set of cocktails, one appetizer and one entree. And we had gone prepared to really enjoy the menu but service was so disorganized and slow it just didn't happen.

Other notes. The website says there is a strict dress code, that was not our experience but we also understand it was after 8 on a Sunday so I i didn't expect them to turn people away. We also knew that part of the restaurant was a 21 and over lounge and we had assumed that's where we were being sat since the area we were in had a long bar and high tables, but after 9 pm two families with small kids got seated near us. I don't have a problem with kids (i have three) but I was disappointed at the disruption especially on top of everything else. Our waitress seemed to disappear and i saw a man who must have been the manager walk around like he had nothing to do. It was very frustrating.

Again the food we had was amazing! The specialty cocktails we ordered were large and actually lasted us quite a while (great considering how long it took to get them), but the service was so slow and the fact that we weren't told that food was no longer available till long after we ordered is unacceptable. I'm so sad because i would have loved to enjoy more food but i cannot recommend this place until they fix the service and whatever communication issues they have between the kitchen and...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Neta Cocina Y Lounge and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. This modern Mexican restaurant definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of service, food, ambience, and drinks.

First and foremost, the service at La Neta Cocina Y Lounge was exceptional. Our server, Gus, went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfection. He was extremely attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. Gus not only guided us through the menu, but also took the time to explain the different flavors and ingredients in each dish, making sure we made the right choices for our preferences.

Speaking of the menu, the food at La Neta Cocina Y Lounge was absolutely delicious. Each dish we ordered was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From the guacamole, which was creamy and garnished with perfectly ripe avocados, to the tantalizing Strip Steak Birria filled with tender, juicy meat, every bite was a taste sensation. The modern twist on traditional Mexican cuisine was evident in each dish, showcasing the chef's creativity and passion for culinary artistry.

The ambience of La Neta Cocina Y Lounge perfectly complemented the modern Mexican cuisine. The restaurant exuded a cool and trendy vibe, with its stylish decor and chic lighting. The combination of earthy tones and vibrant accents created a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal place for a relaxed yet sophisticated dining experience. Whether you're having a romantic dinner or catching up with friends, La Neta Cocina Y Lounge offers a setting that is both modern and comfortable.

Of course, no review of La Neta Cocina Y Lounge would be complete without mentioning their margaritas. These refreshing and perfectly balanced cocktails were simply divine. Sipping on a margarita while enjoying the flavors of Mexico truly elevated the dining experience. The variety of flavors and innovative twists on this classic cocktail made it difficult to choose just one. From the tangy and zesty lime margarita to the tropical and fruity mango margarita, each sip was a delightful journey for the taste buds.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a modern Mexican restaurant with excellent service, delicious food, a cool ambience, and great margaritas, look no further than La Neta Cocina Y Lounge. The combination of Gus' exceptional service, the mouthwatering dishes, the trendy ambience, and the delightful margaritas creates a dining experience that is second to none. La Neta Cocina Y Lounge truly celebrates the flavors of Mexico in a modern and innovative way, leaving you...
