My husband and I came in on June 2nd around 6pm, and the restaurant was not busy. We ordered fried okra and calamari, which came to the table extremely fast, and we received 2 orders of okra as it was but one get 1 free. I then ordered gumbo and a caesar salad and my hubby ordered low country boil in a bag. My order came out promptly, however my husband and I watched as the manager Tiffany and 2 other employees focused on bagging to go orders running other sections food and joking, all while his food sat in the window. Our waiter had a party of ten seated and was clearly overwhelmed, as the party was extremely indecisive. Our waiter completely forgot about my hubby’s order, however we politely reminded him and he brought the bag we watched sit in the window for 15 maybe 20 minutes. We asked for the manager, and Tiffany came over to explain basically how it was the waiter’s fault because “ we don’t run each others food unless someone asks that is how communication works and I don’t know if you have ever worked in a restaurant before or not it is like a turf thing.” I was baffled… Yes I have lots of food service experience and customer service experience too, you never become defensive or argumentative with a customer it will only escalate whatever the matter. The food was decent but management lacks accountability and customer service skills. I will never return, I do not need to be condescended or talked to like I am a child. Horrible service experience, due to management, she is too busy playing with the employees and not taking a leadership role. Our waiter was named Lee and he was sweet and personable, he merely became tied up due to the large party.

I will never return here again. First batch was extremely salty and i ask politely can it be removed. I only tried two pieces to be sure i wasn’t tripping. It was horrible. They gave me the option to either get them steamed only with no sauce or to try another sauce. I’ve been here several times and i’ve always got the same thing. They remade it and it looked like a batch someone was already playing over. I was disgusted and paid my tab and left. A waste of money. You guys lost a customer. And i hope it was worth it for the way you guys treated me. I will stick with happy crab in goose creek. They never disappoints. And what i inquired about has nothing to do with the service i received. People inquired about things all the time. It wasn’t available so i ask for something else. My bad i thought i was at happy crab where i get top knotched service and they have the option of a half a pound. But to LIE and said i ate half of my food before complaining says a lot about you and your establishment. Take accountability it’s not hard. I don’t have to lie to get out of paying for a meal. I gracefully paid and left that garbage you gave me on the table. The sweet tea was good though. Good day !

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! I spent over $85 and the food was HORRIBLE! The blue crabs were overcooked to the point were the crabmeat was not identifiable; it was mush! Just awful unable to be eaten as it tasted spoiled. When I called the restaraunt they made no concessions for a replacement. I could have gone through Uber Eats to request a refund but I found out that penalzies the driver and why should they suffer for the POOR QUALITY of food that is the restaraunts fault. I would NEVER go here again nor recommend to anyone. Save your money.....go someone else, there are many Seafood Boil restaraunts all over our area. Response to Restaurant 2-20-24: Yes I did call the manager and shockingly that experience was also extremely poor customer service as they said there is nothing they would do for a delivery order. What in the world....the delivery driver didn't poorly prepare and serve food that was not fit for consumption.

My girlfriend and I went here just a few hours ago with high hopes. This first time visit is one case where I really wished I would have read some of the reviews (especially the lower rated reviews). While the ambience of the restaurant was nice and it was very clean, that was unfortunately the best part of it. The customer service was decent, but not enough to go back, especially with the food. We ordered a pound of snow crab and some mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were pretty decent for what they are. As for the crab on the other hand, it was pretty bad. It started with just being in a plastic bag and I wasn't a fan of that. For the $24ish (one pound of crab), there were three clusters that were pretty small, and one of the clusters had a very brown shell that was pretty squishy. The flavor wasn't the best, and by that there wasn't hardly any flavor for mild; We didn't even see any seasoning on it or smell any. The garlic butter was the sauce we got with it and it wasn't that good either (I got it on the side); I took one taste of it and refused to touch it after that. The crab came with 2 corn and 2 potatoes, however one of the potatoes was about the same circumference as a quarter. The corn was ok. In the end it was about $42 (with tip) and it wasn't that worth it. I'd give this restaurant less stars if I had the ability to. We ended up going to McDonald's afterwards and for the $12 I spent it was much more food, and honestly...

I am only giving a two star instead of one because some of our food was edible and the spice was great. BUT….. our shrimp was very mushy and to clarify we bought two make your own combo bags. The first bag was 1lb of shrimp and 1lb of sausage. The second bag was 1lb of black mussels and 1/2 lb of shrimp. I have never tasted shrimp like this. It was cooked so hard that it because mushy and it definitely was not fresh. The shrimp had this weird taste to it. My spouse and I love seafood and since relocating to the area we have been in search of a seafood place that was similar or better than what we have experienced from home. We decide to try this place vs the place we had been frequenting and to say the least We were highly disappointed and wasted almost $70 on food and we couldn’t even eat half of it. Immediately after eating I felt nauseous and I only ate 2 pieces of the shrimp and my partner hates mushy food. Secondly the shrimp was not deveined at all so that was another obstacle we tried to deal with. After trying bag seafood from a few places we expect it to be saucy and even some grease but this was outrageously greasy. I was very disappointed with my food and the only reason I didn’t bring it back to be refunded was due to the fact that I was already annoyed and didn’t not want to be met with excuses or push back for horrible food.
