Cook Out — Restaurant in Summerville

Just left spent 20 minutes waiting to order, 10 minutes ordering and spent another 30 minutes waiting at the window for my food.

Ordered three trays which they got wrong four times, yet gave me an attitude like I was the incompetent one. First time they gave me two trays not even three, both entirely wrong. I repeated what I ordered. Second time they gave me one correct tray, one wrong tray and didn’t include the burger in the last. I repeated what I ordered yet again. The third time they got the trays ALMOST right (not really lol, just my patience was gone and I wasn’t going to sit and wait and give them yet another chance to perform a basic task only for them to get wrong, they included slaw instead of fries when I had to of said 20 times over the course of my time there “no slaw, double fries” and gave me cheese quesadillas instead of chicken not to mention literally 3 cheddar bites they gave me as an additional added side) I reminded me they had yet to given me my drinks or shake. they gave more of an attitude and started mumbling under their breath until they closed the window and yelling saying I was causing them to get backed up and needed to go. Gave me my teas and gave me the wrong milkshakes (vanilla instead of Chocolate chip mint and strawberry instead of strawberry cheesecake)

The only good part of this experience was that he was too busy trying to hand me the wrong foos that he forgot to ask for my card. Which normally given the constant attitude received, errors and waste of my time, I wasn’t going to remind him.

Hands down THE worst customer service and mismanaged cookout I’ve been to, not just in the area either but other states as well and I’ve been to quite a few.

So I'm a big fan of the cookout chain , but I have to ask ?. Does the one on main st. In Summerville only hire numb skull uneducated morons or is it really that hard to understand that a chicken wrap exists as well as appear on the menu . I have repeatedly asked to order a chicken wrap with cheese and meat only just to be told (we ain't got no chicken wap) we just got ranch and honey mustard wraps .so I go on to explain that I really really hate ranch and loath honey mustard !!!! So can we please just get cheese and chicken alone on the wraps in my order . AFTER being reassured multiple times that my order is without ranch or honey mustard. I get home , by now very hungry and finally done with the 30 min drive it takes me to travel there to find out that not only do the wraps in my order have ranch low and behold they also contain more lettuce than usual.. so I attempt to call the number that is supplied on the Internet at cookouts site just to call and to no avail get hung up on every time they answer the phone and not one time in the multiple times I have not one time been able to speak with anyone ...!!!! I almost never leave bad reviews especially when I like the food a lot ...but from now on I think that I will drive the extra 4 miles that are required in order to get to the cookout on hwy 78 in North Charleston. ..this particular location is terrible and should be avoided by anyone that likes to get the order they have placed instead u may receive things totally backwards from what...

It was my first time at Cook Out. I went through the drive. The staff asked for my order; I said two Cheddar style cheese burgers with everything. Which means lettuce, tomatoe, onion, bacon. Plus pickle, mayo, and mustard. I also asked for onion rings, lrg fries, and two chocolate shakes. I drive up; staff asked me for payment. Hands me bag saying have a good night. I looked into the bag. There are no fries. Where are the shakes? Staff yells for fries and starts to give me one shake. May l have a drink holder? Reply: "Shurrr" Then asked for another payment. ?? Said I thought shakes were for someone else. Gave me fries, says have a good one. Part 2 I get home, pull out all the food. Onion rings are great! (l am not a big onion ring fan. They smelled so good.) The fries? Wilty. The Cheddar style burgers? Cheese & Burger. No, None, Nada. Fixings! The meat was rare. Thank goodness I like it that way. It was delicious. Oh yeah! I asked for whipped cream on my shakes. We do not have whipped cream. Who doesn't have whipped cream for their shakes? Especially when they have so many? By the way, between my two charges, I spent $25.75. I only spent $15.00 for two half a chicken dinners with mashed potatoes/carrots /turnip greens. I got that at Publics. Try that amazing! ...
