Monday July 15th 10am-10:15 cashier loudly called me a curse word. She asked what I wanted and I told her I was there to pick up an order and she walked away without looking for it to start talking to someone for a few minutes that had just come in to pick up a bag at the counter and seemed to know her without looking for the order for me and cane back after chatting for a bit and asked me for the name again and then went back to chatting with the same person for awhile and then came back and then she seemed upset that I was still there waiting so she started asking about the app order and then she said she had no such order as a pickup or curbside etc. and was raising her voice saying she would need the order number and she was snapping at me so I called the person who had placed the order and repeated to them what she had said to me which seemed to send her over the edge and she turned around and grabbed the order which was right there and sat it in front of me and she was being so mean like she could not stop herself and I asked for her name and she said What Does it Matter What is Your Name and she just kept being hateful and refused to tell me her name. She was short and had dark hair and piercings on her face and Dawn while on the phone asked me to just take her photo so when I went to she said oh no you are not and took off her hat and pulled her hair down and walked into the kitchen and called me a curse word loudly. And the lady at the drive thru said Whoa and Another employee would not give me her name and another whispered it was Wanna or something like that. She actually told another customer just before walking away and calling me the bad word that I had been rude to her. I had in no way been rude to her other than asking for her name which I do not feel is rude at that point. I did not lash out or even say anything when she kept walking over to chat with the other lady as they seemed to know each other. I have never met her prior and I do not even normally go there as I only went there to pick up food for a few ladies. Please review the camera footage so you can see her body language and how she keeps walking away and how she is acting by her body language. At this point I can only assume she must be on some sort of drugs or something. Do you not drug...
Read moreThere is very little human interaction at this or any other McDonald's I've patronized in my life. Of course, McDonalds - like everything else has changed their game. At 69 I've been in a LOT of McDonald's all over the USA. Even with change, one expects service food & atmosphere to get better, not worse. Isn't that the whole point of change...to be better so the profit margin is better? To specifics: 1) Please, either make the kiosk experience meaningful And functional or get rid of it. The best part of most McDonald's is food consistency and the cashier. The cashier that was only at her station Sometimes, was leaning on the counter, would not make eye contact and must have been new. [She was coached through, at one point, wich screen to find a food item for a customer, but the coaching didn't occur until the poor cashier had been looking & looking for the menu item for 3-4 minutes]. 2) The kiosk process direct the customer to retrieve a number for the table to help the server locate the correct table. However, I was told the number really wasn't necessary. So, which is it? 3) when our food was brought to our table (just a few minutes later, yay!) The fries were barely warm and no drinks were brought with our order. I can only assume the (new) cashier should have provided us with those, but she lacked a coach at the time and could not have managed the action due to an increasing number of patrons. 4) There were also no condiments with our food when it arrived; so, another trip to the counter was required to beg for ketchup. 5) Once we decided we wanted dessert, I returned to the kiosk - this time there NO numbers available to retrieve - to order ice cream. I paid the cashier and she got the 2 cones very readily. My caramel sundae came a couple of minutes later. 6) Finally, I'd really like McDonald's to make their players differently - I mean different from each other. It seems there is NO variation in the players at McDonald's. I commend McDonald's for the fact that they pioneered (it seems) this attribute for children while in their restaurant. However, it's time to up the play experience for children and stimulate their creativity, imagination & social...
Read moreI had to edit my previous review after several consecutive times of being pulled up from the drive-thru, only to be forgotten about and have to go in to retrieve my food, which is by then, cold. I have been pulled forward even if no one is behind me, which tells me that they are doing it to improve service time averages...at the expense of actual customer service. It is no better to order through the app for curbside delivery. I don't think I've ever been pulled forward during breakfast hours... those folks do a great job! When the food is hot and fresh, you can't beat it, and the afternoon and evening staff is always courteous and apologetic and willing to make it right, but the aggravation of it all has definitely sent me looking elsewhere for actual FAST food options.
UPDATE 1/21/24 VISIT: I gave lunch crew another chance and they bombed. They pulled me forward from the drive thru without drinks, and promptly forgot about me. I waited forever and they finally sent someone out to ask what I ordered and she said, "Nobody knows what's going on in there." I went in and they had to fix my order from my receipt because my ticket had gotten thrown away. I got back to car and discovered that the double Big Mac that I ordered was a regular Big Mac and had to go back in to get that fixed. Once I got home, I discovered that they completely left out a 10 pc mcnuggets and by that time was over it and just lost the money on the nuggies.
Good luck on getting me to pull forward from the window ever again. I'll back your line up out into hwy 27, but I'll sit right there so I won't...
