We tried a different Taco Bell we Could not get in to the one on Main Street in Summerville they were backed up out into the road .This Taco Bell was very fast But extremely unefficient our order was wrong , we had to sit at the window for a long time , we were overcharged almost $20.00 they said they made the corrections they did not make the corrections I was still overcharged with terrible food The quality of the food was bad , A burrito supreme was the size of a regular brito if not smaller or That's what we got instead of a supreme, with the raised prices of a burrito supreme . I think in hopes of being faster and serving more customers their quality took a nosedive the manager seemed very efficient we did not talk to her she had everyone working as she should but window Personnel's attitude was terrible You can't excuse when you tell somebody this is not what you want and they tell you well that's what we put in your bag So of course we had them remove it and he wasn't happy about that , well what happened to being happy that you have a job . Read moreSlow service, messes up my order. It took nearly a half hour to get my order today. The cashiers were visibly upset and over-taxed with duties. I would like to say that it's because of the staff being incompetent however you can't expect only four people to be able to run two counters, a drive through and an entire kitchen in one of the busiest restaurants in the area, during rush hour, without error
And that is the problem and has always been so, with this particular Taco Bell. It is ALWAYS understaffed and no matter how many times they change out staff the quality of service never improves.
It is obvious to me that the owners are not doing their job, and that they are trying to run the business as cheaply as possible. They don't care about the quality of service. They most certainly do not care about their customers as evidenced by the empty placations and Stock-responses from coporate. They probably think that they are making up for the loss in customers by running the operation so cheaply.
Ive served in the restaurant industry for close to 15 years. I don't expect Taco Bell to be the same type of experience at a Wylie Dufresne or Joel Robuchon restaurant. I expect my food to be made quickly...
Read moreUsed to live taco bell. I'd eat there 4 or 5 times a week. After the experience with this location in September 8, 2016 at 9:30 pm, NEVER again. Ordered 12 tacos online at 9 o'clock. Got there at 9:30, and there was NO ONE in line. Sent my wife in. As soon as she went in people began streaming in, one after another coming in and going out with multiple bags of food. An hour later, (yes I patiently waited an hour) I went in and said we are leaving. I,called the store, told them to refund the order, and if course the GM had to do that and I was to wait for a call. No call and 2 days later my card still not refunded and for an extra surprise they charged me twice...30 dollars. I wrote to corporate online, 4 days later STILL no response. I am not exagerating, take it for what it's worth, this location should not be in business...it's not the first time it's happened to me at this location.
