Barbato's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Summit Township

I was disappointed. My son wanted pizza for lunch. There was a Blaze Pizza nearby but I looked for a mom and pop place nearby, figuring the pizza would be a lot better. It usually is. Online it showed that the place opens at 11 a.m. I called at 10:50 am. The guy that took my order said they didn't open until 11:15 so my order would be ready at 11:20. ??? I said ok and waited for it. I go in to get it and the guy is friendly. I see the box looks like a medium and I ordered a large. So I asked, "this is a large?" The guy said yes, 14 inch. It didn't even fit the whole box. It cost almost $15.00 for a large half pepperoni, half cheese. I saw on the sign they prefer cards because of the virus. I hand him my debit card, then see a sign that a fee of 5% is added to all card purchases. Hmm. So I thought, this better be some really good pizza. I ordered it easy on the sauce, and I know the guy knew that because when I picked it up he said one large, easy on the sauce. It was opposite. It looked like they put extra sauce. I will never order a other thing from these rude people! Very unprofessional!!!!! The one gentleman that took the order was being very rude and over talking me when I was trying to explain to him that I would come and pick up my order since they didn't have the courtesy to call and inform us that their delivery driver never showed up and made us wait over an hour for our food when in reality they were not bringing it. I ask to speak to a manager and proceeded to explain to her the situation and ask her if she was going to make it right and get our food to us and she put me back on the phone with the first gentleman that was rude and didn't want to deal with it and hung up on me just for somebody else to answer the phone and then proceeded to over talk me again and I told him I will never be coming to your business again this is very rude you're being very unprofessional Worth Service I have ever dealt with in any restaurant! ZERO STARS! NOT GOOD!!! After ordering a pizza tonight, it arrived and it was partly missing. After calling to explain that some of our food was missing, the guy who answered the phone proceeded to tell me that someone at my work must have taken the slices that were missing. This food was delivered to my hand and taken directly to our counter. No other employees came into contact with it between myself and the parking lot to inside our area, which I might add other employees are not permitted to enter. After calling I ended up hanging up on the guy. Convinced I was still lying he proceeded to call me back and say "we know what happened, a medium pizza was put into a large box." That doesn't explain how there was not the amount of pizza that was supposed to be in there and some was in fact missing, the theory of that it was in a bigger box and moved around does not work considering half of the pizza was correct, and the other wasnt.This Company has bought many pizzas from here as well as customers who come here.
