I’ve been here with my family and husband a couple of times and I am the only one who eats here when I usually come into town due to my family and husband not carrying for the food. Tonight was a very unpleasant experience me and a family member came here for food and drinks .. I personally asked for a strawberry margarita with Tito’s with sugar around the rim and they asked for a house margarita with patron, the waiter then came back and notified us that she was not able to do that, but she could make it with top shelf liquor instead of the Tito and patron, which was no issue. The drinks came out and they were the best tasting, a family member notified them and the assistant manager took it from the table, I myself told her I did not care for the taste but it was fine I would drink it and add strawberry syrup just not to make a fuss, on top of my drink having Salt instead of sugar which I did not think I should make a big deal mistakes happen. The food came out and I was pleased, however my family members did not care for the steak in the burrito and the actually manager came this time.. one mentioned they did not care for it but she will force herself to eat it due to her being hungry and they took her daughters order off because she just could not eat it.. with that being said, she gets to half her burrito and realizes why she did not like it.. she asked the server for a steak burrito with only BELL PEPPER AND ONIONS .. The manager came again with our waiter and the waiter repeated she asked for a steak burrito with only bell peppers and onions, and the manger proceeded to say “ it comes with fried beans”. This is acknowledged however if someone is asking for a BURRITO with only BELL PEPPERS and ONIONS unfortunately there is not justification as to why that is not only in the burrito. I truly do not think that manger was trying to be helpful and understand to what was being said because he felt that we were complaining a lot but yes! A lot of complaints were made because things we not made correctly. As check out came, there was a charge for top shelf liquor and a double shot. Which is highly confusing to me because I did not ask for a double shot, so what could this be? As I explain what I asked for and it couldn’t be made and the server told me it would be a Top Shelf margarita, they come back to say Tito’s was then added… excuse me? But you just informed me you couldn’t do so. The young lady was rude but I truly think it was because her frustration which I completely understand 100% but I did let her know I did not like the tone she was using to me because I personally made sure I was extremely nice to them during this situation. The manager says, she was rude and I responded I understand that’s your perception but I personally felt it was rude, as he is over talking me informing me that he is not listening to me, I then let him know you can STFU talking to me. Not even justifying that this tone is right for me, but as a women I can not stand a disrespectful man, especially after this “manager” who owns this “restaurant” is talking to a customer in a distasteful manner when I have explained to him there only so many issue because the order is incorrect. I do not again think he was trying to hear what we were saying but to think that we were “ complaining” when we were just trying to get an understanding and let them know things were wrong. Not once before this were we mean or nasty but from the comment he made to a friend that came with them “this happens often” obviously there is a reason for that. I have never in my entire life wrote a review, never in my entire life had issues while eating out and I truly believe this will be my last. There is very great management at mariachi and we have been going to them for YEARS and NEVER been disappointed. If you come here you will notice the slight attitude if something is wrong with your order also the payment amount not adding it if you order something other than just a meal if you add something that comes with it you maybe charged if you...
Read moreIt was my first time visiting and eating at this place. Infact, it was also my first time ever trying Fish Tacos... Which I must say tasted absolutely delicious. I kive earing fish anyway, so this was actually right up my alley, and lets just say that although I enjoyed everything i ate, I'm planning to make another visit at some point just for those delicious fish Tacos. The Food tastes and looks homemade, it doesn't seem like some kind if artificial premade stuff you'd buy in a box if that makes sense. No, it litterally tastes and is even presented like something homemade, like something you'd have jlif you were at an actual Mexican or Spanish villa. The service was also great, I sat at the bar and my waitress was very nice and attentive, i didn't have to sit waiting for someone to even acknowledge my presence like some of these restaurants around here, she was very pleasant and professional. The Atmosphere wasn't really anything over the top so thai why I only gave it 4 stars, but between the service and the food both being so good, I didn't really mind the Atmosphere just being what i would consider just pretty basic or casual, but all of the people I saw there really seemed to enjoy themselves, infact that's it .. it has what I would say is that very "It feels like home" sirt of vibe. I took a few Photos of my food do you could see the presentation. Like i said all of the food was fresh and satisfyingly good. Even the Chips, i like the fact the chips had that thin freshly cooked feel and taste, (side note) I've even been contemplating going back just to buy some chips for a snack during lunch perhaps.. 😂 Anyways, this place is definitely a great place to check out if you're in the mood for some good Mexican food. Oh and if you like eating outside, they have an area fir that right out front as well 😉👌- Enjoy ! And if you go Tell 'em...
Read moreFrom start to finish this place was just average. We really wanted to like this place because it's the new spot in town but we just didn't. It wasn't terrible there was no missing finger in the salsa but everything was just meh. The blasè experience began with the chips and salsa. The salsa container was less than half full. Only enough for one of the dipping cups and there were two of us there. What surprised me was inside the cup there was some strange substance that looked like butter So i wiped it out and moved on. Not a big deal. Next they provided bean dip for the chips as well and it was extremely bland. No salt or seasoning of any kind. the daiquiria was pretty good but it was also fairly expensive for this particular area. We got a tamale, a guacamole taco, the loco burrito, and a flauta, the tamale has far too much masa and not nearly enough meat and sauce, the taco was decent, the flauta was not at all what the picture looked like and was dry. The burrito tasted good however it like everything else was lukewarm. Overall there was no egregious errors however as an experience as a whole it was a lot less than we expected and for one drink, one entree, and 3 á la cart dishes to come to almost $40 was much more than I'm willing to pay for that level of mediocre food. The atmosphere was less than pleasant. We were by a table of very loud women taking shots and making fools of themselves. There were several tables like this. Overall I don't think we will be...
