Great way to ruin my day. I woke up this morning to pick up my friend to grab some moes. On a free queso day I drove an hour from Lexington SC to come here. My friend and I (Chris) were pretty excited to walk into moes and hear “welcome to moes!” But to our disappoint we did not hear that. Matter of a fact we heard nothing… not a soul inside the kitchen, keep in mind today is free queso day. (That is important to remember for later: After a few brief moments two people come from the back and at last take our order. I let my friend, Chris order first because I’m not sure what I exactly want yet. He orders I’m still thinking… finally I decide to get the same meal as him, the clerks were not to happy about that, Chris comes back and orders the meal again and we get the food for here. I come to the counter to pay and believe it or not the total is $28.57 for two stacks smh. We get our free queso and ask if we can get another using the app. He WAS NOT very happy about that he huffs and puffs and gets all red, and agitatedly says no, when I ask for a water cup, he didn’t give me a water cup he gave me a medium! So we sit down and get or food, and our drinks of course with their incredibly limited drink options.. safe to say this moes has ruined everything for me I had overall terrible service.. okay food and I DO NOT recommend you to come here ever unless if you’re looking for an unpleasant experience. Read moreI come here regularly for lunch. Usually at least once a week. This review isn't my overall feelings towards this restraunt, but is a reflection of the worst experience I've had.
I placed and paid for my order online with exactly what I wanted and included a reminder not to forget the queso (because the thing I order comes with queso on it) and they always forget it when you order it online.
I went to pick up my order an hour later, and was told it wasn't ready because someone forgot to make it. I waited for 15 almost 20 minutes of the 30 minute total lunch time I have for my order. It was then given to me with $15 worth of expired 'moe's money' (which when I go to use I'm positive I'll be harassed about.) So I called back to the store to let them know there was a mix up, and the woman asked if I could come back but I couldn't until I was off for the day.
I returned and she had made my order like I placed for lunch. But without queso, as mentioned before. If this company didn't charge $3.50 for a cup of queso it wouldn't be a huge deal. But when your order is $10 and basically $4 of that is queso and they don't even put it on. This was an absolutely horrible experience and has almost turned me off of this franchise...

My mother went in there last week to get the "treat yourself" offer, which includes a 22 oz drink and a side of either queso or guac with the purchase of a bowl. She ordered the "earmuffs", and Todd told her that her total was $18.00. My mother politely asked him about the the possible overcharge, and he yelled at her and pointed to the receipt and said "that's just what it is. did you not want a large drink?" My mother said that he spoke to her as if she was retarded, and she clearly is not; she has a master's degree and is able to hold a good job. I don't care how bad of a day you're having, but you DO NOT yell at customers. period. The restaurant has also been extremely dirty every time I have gone in there. The floors are not swept and the tables are never wiped down. There are also flies everywhere. Todd, you have already run Applebee's into the ground, and you are doing the same to Moe's. You came here to steal the position of general manager from someone who was/still is very polite and professional. You are a fat, bald nobody, and I believe there is a special place in hell for people like you. I wouldn't even give this place one star, but...
