Tony's is a great place for pizza and subs. My family lives in Sumter and whenever we want to go out for a family night, we go to Tonys. I remember asking my niece a few months ago why she ordered a sub... "the pizza is so good, why would you ever order anything else?!" Her response was perfect, "try this..." Now when I go, I get an Italian sub AND a slice of pizza. I always say I am going to take half my sub home (but tbh, it's so good, I always eat it before we leave). I live in Columbia and don't mind driving an hour to eat at Tony's with my Dad, sister, nieces and nephew! As long as you don't try to eat salad while everyone else gets subs and pizza, you won't be disappointed!!

A small Pizza place located near the Hospital, it offers pizza by the slice. The pizza is good and they often have a 2 slice special. Plenty of parking and a good staff attitude. You can done in or take out, call in orders available too.

First time here... Staff was great, neat and clean dining area, but the pizza... the pizza needs to be cooked a little bit longer to be considered “great” pizza! Overall good place!

I had driven past this place a few times in the past and finally decided to try their pizza as I prefer to support small businesses when I can. No problems ordering over the phone and it was ready within the 20 minute timeframe given. I would say that the pizza was “fine”, but not “very good”. Usually, when you eat a “good” pizza there is something that really stands out such as the crust, sauce, etc., but the best way to describe this pizza is unremarkable. In fact, the crust had absolutely no flavor and was plain in every sense of the word (even chain pizza places flavor their crust). Also, there was very minimal sauce on the entire pizza, so I can’t even say if that was good or not. Overall, very disappointed and won’t drive out of the way again...

I ordered two slices of pizza. The pizza was good and hot until I spotted a strand of hair on the slice I was eating. I called the store to let the know. I told them that I did not want another slice, nor a refund. I was informing them so the could do a better job of quality control.

The lady I spoke with asked me "what kind of hair was it? They all have their hair pulled back". I stated to her that "I didn't inspect the hair". At that point, I felt like she was questioning my integrity. I had already told her that I didn't want anything from them. It was a courtesy call. The conversation was going nowhere.

Poor customer service at best. All she needed to say was "I'm sorry this happened" and we could...

I usually get wonderful pizza from here, but today missed the mark. I had to wait for my two slices and a drink special about 10 minutes, which is unusual, then when I got back to the office, the pizza dough was not cooked through and it was a limp mess. Not happy at all. I called to inform them of this and all I got was "I'm sorry to hear that". No offer to make it right or anything. Needless to say, I will not be returning there anytime soon. I miss the previous owners or cooks in there, they knew how to make an authentic pizza, I have told my office mates of my experience as well. The tea was good, but that is all that was good in today's visit. Wasted $4.29, should have just stuck with my...
