Wingstop — Restaurant in Sumter

We eat wing stop all the time but this location is ratchet. We called in an order, told it would be 30 mins. Showed up around 35mins and they couldn’t find out ticket in the computer system but it was hanging on the wall- the lady proceeds to tell me that they don’t even start to go orders until the person gets there, which is wild. What’s the point of calling something in. So many people waiting and everyone ahead of us checked their order before leaving and something was wrong. After waiting another 15mins they call our name- we check our order and there was no fries (we got 15pc combo) we asked for the fries to have light Cajun season, I heard the girl at the counter (who was super sweet) tell the cook light Cajun season and he said , okay I’ll give them light seasoning and proceeds to dump so much on there- we got to the car and I showed my son the amount of seasoning.we literally couldn’t even eat them. Get home and he is excited to eat his wings but the wings are not cooked. I mean the meat inside is just barely done but the skin is like mush- and you can tell the chicken just barely made temp. We ended up heating them in the oven. We just moved to Sumter and was excited about there being a wing stop but this location definitely...

The literal definition of a hot mess. Took 45 minutes to get our food (2 10 piece wings, one just wings, one wings and fries). Guess they had to kill the chickens first… Then, after 45 minutes of waiting, they forgot the fries, argued with us over them til we showed them the receipt. Then, said 3 more minutes, ended up taking 6 because my fiancé watched one of them take the fries out of the basket, put them on the tray, waited a few seconds, then dumped the fries back into the basket until he went up and asked if those were supposed to be ours. Then we had to remind them that we ordered fries and reshow the receipt (it was the same people. There was not a shift change. We had the exact same conversation 6 minutes ago). Obviously by the time we got home, the chicken had to be microwaved. It was then that we found out that they blended two orders into one… chicken and fries were decent. Not worth the almost $40 we paid and the 51 minute wait overall. Will...

Me and my husband tried going to this restaurant a few weeks back only to be told that registers were down, that's strike one. Strike 2 was today when we decided to give this store a second chance only to be coldly greeted by their staff workers! Strike three the food was horrible,never in my life have I or my husband had such horrid wings like these! They must have used the oldest oil to cook with and nastiest fries to go with those wings! By the way the fries tasted like it was seasoned with sugar and over salted for further insult! Don't get me started on the bathroom,it reaked of "weed" and toilet water was all over the floor! Making this one of the worst bathrooms in a restaurant ive been too. The last thing was the order was missing some of its items but at least the manager did fix that after I complained! Bottom line we won't be going back.....ever to this store in Sumter SC store #3024. Try some other name brand stores and avoid WingStop...
