I’d like to start off with the fact that I RARELY leave 1 star reviews, unless they’re truly warranted, and I’m not knocking McDonalds as a whole, because for a family in a rush in need of a quick bite to eat it works. However, this location in particular I would highly advise against eating at. We have lived near this location for 3.5 years, and have only had about 2 decent experiences. Our first experience we ordered milk for our kids, and it was expired and curdled. The manager apologized and gave us a refund, so we let it go. Since that occasion, we have given them a-go many times, and every time we regret it. Our biggest complaints are: the buns & biscuits are rarely fresh, and are typically hard, cold, and chewy. The fries and hash browns are almost always super dark in color, indicating that the fryer oil is long overdue for a change, and they’re rarely fresh (on the cold side). On quite a few occasions it’s obvious the fries/hash browns have been double cooked to reheat, which makes them pretty gross.
All of that said, today was the day we chose to discontinue going to this location, as we were in line for 25 minutes because the staff had placed 8 customers in parking spots that were blocking the drive-thru, holding up the line for other customers. While we could’ve overlooked this due to a busy morning, we thought our food would be fresh. Unfortunately, the food was so bad we had to throw it out because the muffins & biscuits were hard and difficult to chew, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the hash browns had been triple cooked as they were incredibly dark and hard.
I will say the staff the majority of the time at this location are friendly, but it just doesn’t make up for the major lack in quality of food. It may be cheap food, but for this location it just isn’t worth it. If you live in the area, there’s a location off of Union Hills/101 that we have never had a bad experience with— their food is always fresh and hot, and their customer service has always been great. To be honest, it’s probably the best McDonalds we have ever been to. I highly advise customers choose that location, as it’s only a few miles drive from...
Read moreToday on 1/04/2019 i decided to try out this restaurant for breakfast for me and my 2 kids. I always use the Mobile App on my phone for curbside pick up with no issues at other locations i normally go to. It makes it so much easier using Curbside pickup with kids versus having to go inside or wait in line at the Drive Thru. I ordered and parked at 11:37am. Ten minutes go by and i start wondering what the wait is. A drive thru vehicle even pulled up besides me to wait for their order and was helped and they left. The drive thru was going through fast enough that it made me worry my order was forgotten. Finally at 11:55 i had enough. I called the restaurant, Esveydy ( the manager) answered , i explained to her i had made a mobile order and seemed like she wasn't seeing the order in the queue. I told her i didn't want the food any longer and wanted a refund since my card had already been charged 20 minutes before. She blatantly stated to call Customer Service since she couldnt. Not a word more, not a word less. She had ZERO apathy or ZERO attempt to resolve the issue. I missed an appointment because of their unprofessional and unmotivated crew. This is clearly a manager and team who are not willing or attempting to adapt to the Current McDonald's Business model with the mobile ordering. Staff members who settle for the minimum or make no attempt to adapt with the new services are one of the worst employees to have for a business. I have never before written a review for anyone. This is the first. I will never go back to this location. And because of my interaction with the manager and how my visit went, i don't know if i'll be using the Mobile App any longer wondering if there will be more Manager's like Esveydy i'll have to inteact with. I'm very dissappointed. I'll be taking this incident to corporate because of this issue as well as having to get my money back for a service i...
Read moreFor the second time in the last few months at 9:15 in the evening we went over for ice cream. We were waiting in the drive-through line finally got our turn, they said there was no ice cream. When we got up to the window I asked to speak to a manager, the young woman there said she was one of them. We politely suggested that they post signage outside the drive up line before you get in line to let people know what you were out of. So you weren’t stuck in the line. We said this was the second time it happened to us with ice cream. She said that was untrue and the last time they were out of ice cream was three years ago. Well if that’s true then people were lying to us just a few months ago. She stated she has been dealing with this all day in a very snotty way, we said why are you getting so snotty and she slammed the window in our face and ran away. We went up to the food delivery window and asked to speak to another manager who was there, the young woman who was at the window said she was one of them. She gave very good customer service she heard our grievance she apologized she thought we had a good idea etc. While we were speaking to her two other people apparently were yelling at her telling her she could not talk with us. I find this amazing I will never use the store again. I will tell everyone in my retirement community that frequence this store to never go there again because of the horrid customer service. I understand there’s a shortage of product and people for a married of reasons, again we just had a suggestion to let people know what items are or are not available before they...
