I was having a crazy weekend full of anxieties. I was overwhelmed with stuff going on. I ordered some breakfast from Sir Hobos. Always known to be the best, and fastest alternative to a home cooked breakfast. When I ordered for pick up, I wondered why my bags were a bit light. I asked specifically if the drinks were in there and the lady reassured me that they were. In doubt, I left and trusted her. When I arrived at my location, I did indeed was missing my drinks. I contemplated calling over a petty drink missing but I told myself I couldn’t keep letting misfortune pile up. So I called. They told me it was their fault and asked if I could return for a resolution. When I arrived, I was greeted by two smiling employees the moment I got into the parking lot. They were really apologetic. Needless to say, my hectic day was extinguished immediately from these genuine customer service professionals. I wanted to call but it would not have came out as I wanted through words. Thank you Sir Hobos for providing a smile on...

My friend and I hadn’t been to Sir hobos in a while and so we decided to go for breakfast because I love the large pieces of sausage they have at breakfast time. That morning I had two eggs four pieces of sausage (because I substituted the bacon that came with the meal with additional pieces of sausage) and instead of the pancakes I asked for hashbrowns. When my meal came I was stunned at the amount of the scrambled eggs. The menu said it came with two eggs and these scrambled eggs must’ve have been made with miniature sparrow eggs. The hashbrowns I cut into four little bite sized pieces. I realize that things are difficult nowadays in the restaurant business in terms of a lack of customers and a lack of staffing and because of that restaurant owners have to increase their prices. Put the cut back of a serving size down to hardly anything tells me things must be very difficult...

Awesome place! The food is great and the staff is super nice. The best part is they were able to accommodate our large family breakfast that morning. We go camping for a weekend once a year and the Sunday morning we always go out for breakfast. We gave them a call and they were able to seat all 25 of us an hour later or so. That’s hard to find in many breakfast places these days. They also split the table between two waitresses and everything was seamless. This is also the second year in a row we’ve come back to Sir Hobos and I have been back on my own a few times, since I live in Sun Prairie, and it’s been great every time. Definitely...

It's a small, cozy restaurant which appears to be outdated. The worst part however was the service, or lack of. My husband and I were seated quickly with menus but no one ever came back to provide water or to take our order. I understand under staffing issues but a gentleman seated after us was waited on before us. The waitress walked right past us without any acknowledgment that we were still waiting. The other waitress was ignoring us, as well. The place only had 4 tables with customers so it was not a busy time of day. After waiting over 20 mins, we ended up walking out and were very disappointed.

I came here with my kid for a diner experience. Ordered flat sausage and eggs. He ordered the crepe of the day. With milk and coffee, it was $47 after the smallest tip option. It’s one thing to have premium prices, but it should at least attempt to be a good meal. The paper thin bacon was cooked until all the fat was rendered out and crumbly. The hash browns were more steamed than fried. I’m not a reactive consumer, but it’s difficult to believe that anyone would feel good about this cost to quality experience.

Not a bad little spot for breakfast and brunch. No wait, with plenty of open tables and fast service on a weekday morning. There’s plenty of parking in the lot out back. Table service was friendly and prompt, coffee refills were performed right on time! We tried a garden omelette with hash browns and a gyro skillet. Both dishes were good, but didn’t reach the point that I would call Sir Hobo’s a go-to for myself. If you’re looking for a new breakfast place, give this one a try!
