I brought my pool pump here and left with a very bad taste in my mouth. They took over a month to fix the issue and I had to call them to determine that my pump was finally ready. You would think the company would call the customer when an order is ready, but who's to say? When I picked up the pump the cost was over double what the sales person told me it would be and when I got it home I discovered that 3 bolts and an o-ring was missing. I called them immediately (it was Saturday) to let them know of this issue and I had to recontact them on the following Tuesday to remind them of the issue. They claimed that they emailed me but there was no email, in my junk mail or otherwise. I requested that they now come to my home to fix the issue, as it was their fault they did not put the pump back together not mine, and once again they claimed that they sent somebody but they could not access the pump. Which is true because they never contacted me to set up a service date so the pump was locked up, along with my pool, in my backyard. They then told me that "...you can pick them up." meaning the parts. Well I was not about to take an hour out of my day to go pick up the parts they neglected to put back. We then agreed that they would just send them and I would fix it myself and they sent the parts POSTAGE DUE! So they failed to put all the parts back onto my pump, would not make an appointment to send a tech out, charged me double and sent the parts postage due, really!? My advice would be to go someplace else where they have good customer service because Patio Pleasures is not worth working with.
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE
DO NOT USE PATIO PLEASURES SERVICE they did no fix the problem.
So I had another pool service company inspect our pump and they basically think it's shot. They then offered some options to resolve the issue. So thank you again Patio Pleasures for fixing an impeller on a broken pump motor. I think better customer service would have been to tell me the motor's fried before replacing the impeller. But I guess they didn't care if the motor was working properly. They just changed the visually defective parts and didn't bother with the rest. Patio Pleasure's service guy was even here at the house after the repair so he heard and felt how hot the motor was and he told me that "sometimes they run hot". Yeah they run hot, when...
Read moreWe have been wanting to get a Bullfrog hot tub for quite some time. My wife and I did our own research on these and went into Patio Pleasures a few times over the years to physically check things out and talk with sales people. In Fall of 2023 our time finally came to purchase a brand new Bullfrog A7. We worked with Curt Sharkey as he helped us take a in store "test" after hours to see with jet packs we wanted for ours. We could tell he was somewhat new to the salesperson position, but what he was unsure of for answers he had knowledgeable staff to help him. It was a great learning experience for all involved to make sure we got the right product. Our custom ordered hot tub was actually built a bit quicker than anticipated which was great considering we wanted it before it started getting too cold. Home delivery went without a hitch. We did have an issue with one feature and Curt helped us the best he could during chats to try and figure out why the waterfall would not work. It was diagnosed that the pump must be bad and Patio Pleasures ordered a brand new one and scheduled a repair time. Good news was that the waterfall pump was not bad from the factory, it just had a major air lock that we could not get fixed but the repairman was able to. Hot tub now works superbly and we are looking forward to relaxing times year round in it. We will continue to let people know that if you want quality and service, Patio Pleasures is the place you need to go to first. Thank you to Curt, Kim and the rest of the staff on making this a...
Read morePatio Pleasures has been WONDERFUL to work with. They were the only place during our research stage that really took the time to answer our seemingly endless questions over the phone or via email. Michelle was our main point of contact since our first touch point and we couldn't have been more pleased. She and Bill helped with test soaks and electrician referrals when I was struggling finding someone in my area. All that extra attention in the beginning, before we even decided to purchase, is what confirmed our decision to purchase our first spa through them - even though they are 40 minutes away from our home. We have a local spa dealer that is 5 minutes from our house but when we called them they essentially said we had to figure more things out on our end and to call them back when we did. I can't emphasize enough, not only make sure you have a dealer that is going to stand behind their product they've sold to you as a customer but also that they take the time with you as a POTENTIAL customer in the same manner. Each speaks to their culture and character as a company. Patio Pleasures did all that, and then some, and they continue as we learn to navigate being new spa owners. I have nothing bad to say about my experience at all and we are thankful EVERY night we soak...
