Burger King — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

Not enough staff for peak hours.

Location is good, right of 101, and fronts a good-sized Motel 6. Has a small parking lot and a single lane drive through.

Condition is "ok", a little dingy but fine for a fast food stop. Has a single Coca Cola Freestyle machine in the dining area.

Visited toward the end of lunch hour on a weekday. Normal line at the drive thru, longer line inside. Single cashier inside, manager splitting her duties taking orders and distributing orders (see first line of this review).

Took about ten minutes to get order taken, no attitude from employees but they obviously had too much to do. No ice in machine, everyone too busy to deal with it.

Another several minutes produced my Whopper and fries, which came as ordered. Not catsup in dispenser (of course) which looks like it has been on the receiving end of a few frustrated catsup lovers. No packets at ordering counter, and everyone too busy.

Whopper barely warm but edible, got what wasn't greyed out from the soda dispenser and was on my way. Several people left the dining room line, some deciding it must be quicker to try the drive thru.

Walking to my car (which I had to park in the Motel 6 lot) I saw some frustrated patrons turning around as the drive thru was now coned off to relieve some of the pressure on the staff, no doubt, however one does not find this out until driving around the back, where disappointment awaits you.

No doubt this location could handle a lot more volume with adequate staffing and management, but otherwise, buyer beware of how "fast" this location's food will be...

No stars if possible! Went through the drive thru and tried to order 6-mini milkshakes and was given attitude and told it would take too long to make and if I wanted that many I would need to go into the restaurant...where all the doors have signs stating that only DoorDash and such can enter. So I asked for 4 instead...the drive thru attendant gave a big sigh and with attitude asked what flavors. Got my drinks but they were placed in a cup holder tray (they don't fit in those btw) and they all spilled in my car. Turns out, they gave me flavored milk instead of a milkshake. When I called to suggest maybe not placing them in the trays and that my milkshake wasn't made correctly, the manager (her name started with a V) asked me what she wanted us for her to do and that if we don't like the service to go somewhere else. She stated that whatever went wrong was my problem...so much for...

Horrible customer service by one specific older female. I was here at 2pm on Thursday July 7th. I went in to pick up an order placed as drive through pickup. The line was wrapped around the building so I went in to grab it. She was refusing me my order saying she can only give it if I’m in drive through. I tried to read her name tag but she quickly took it off after she continued to belittle me. This is the only BK near me for 15 miles but Next time I’ll travel the distance for better service. No reason why she has to sit there and try to argue. I even said I would go wait in line if it was an issue and she just laughed. Walked away when asking her a question. Sent my sister in to grab straws since she refused to give me any. And she would give her any either. She had to reach over the counter to even access it. She needs to be fired. The men there were absolutely nice and took over...
