Columbia Park — Attraction in Sunnyvale

This is a wonderful little Park that is very family-friendly... There is drinking fountains and a restroom nearby. The only thing that makes me concerned is the fact that there are grown men during the day drinking alcohol in the picnic area. I am unsure if drinking is allowed at this park, but I highly doubt it. The picnic area is adjacent to the two playgrounds. It gives me the jeebies to see men sitting there hanging out and watching The children play while they consume alcohol. This is a regular occurrence... Especially...

Has a couple playing fields, a short running track, a par course, four tennis courts an a small playground. Middle school has fenced off all but the tennis courts and playground and locks the gates during school hours. Parents dropping off and picking up kids, and incompetent crossing guards make adjacent Morse Ave. dangerous and near impassable 7:20 to 8:05 and 2:40 to 3:20 every school day (despite frequent Public Safety presence). Nice open area lots of people walking their dogs. Generally pretty friendly picnic benches are clean small playground for kids. One plus or minus depending on your view. They have that rubber stuff on playground. Cushiony but old tires have heavy metals so..... Playground field is shared with Columbia middle school so field is locked for students only while school is in session. Field is open after 3 pm Thanks...
