This Travel Inn’s service is extremely poor and the front desk manager and staff are very rude, because I refuse to let them hard-copying my driver’s license for simple privacy reason. Like all hotels, the front desk staffs check the ID but have no reason to make a photocopy.

I booked through Expedia and I would warn people from staying away from this property.

I am a Diamond member with Hilton HHonors and a Titanium member with Marriott Bonvoy, and travel extensively throughout the year, and this is the worst property I encountered in terms of service and attitude.

I ended up cancelling the stay at their front desk, no reason to reward such terrible service and very poor attitude. I rebooked a Motel 6 next door, and the service was much better. So far the refund was not honored.

In California, copying and retaining a guest's driver’s license without their consent can raise privacy concerns and violates privacy laws. Under California's California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other privacy regulations, businesses must protect personal information, and they may only collect, use, and store such data for specific, lawful purposes. For hotels specifically, it is common practice to check a guest's ID during check-in for verification purposes, but retaining a copy of the driver’s license is excessive and could be against privacy laws.

I am filing a formal complaint to California Consumer Protection Agency to stop them from hard-copying people’s driver’s license, it’s a violation of consumer privacy. There is no valid reason of keeping a hard copy of guest’s driver’s license after front desk agent’s checking of Real ID.

Serviceable place to stay, no frills. Was here about a month ago. Good for 1-2 night stay, doesn't offer much more than a place to sleep. However, I chose this hotel for the price and convenient location and not for a luxury vacation, so it wasn't unexpected. The lobby is super tiny and there aren't really any comfortable public/shared spaces to sit or hang out. Walking up the stairs to my room I could tell the buildings were very dated, and could use some new finishes - even fresh carpet or paint would make a big difference. Rooms open mostly onto outdoor walkways or corridors that are open to the exterior.

I was pleased to find that the room was in good condition. Again, most of the finishes and equipment looked like they hadn't been upgraded since the '80s or maybe early '90s - especially the bathroom - but they were functional. Nothing was broken or dirty. Most importantly, the bed itself was very clean, soft, and incredibly comfortable. Sheets were spotless white and looked crisp and new, and there were plenty of fluffy pillows. Have to give the hotel owners and housekeeping staff credit for prioritizing attention on what matters most.

I also appreciated the communication via text message from the hotel manager April prior to and during my stay to ensure check-in and check-out...

BEWARE! Make sure you have the online rent quote IN YOUR HAND when placing your reservation and demand a receipt listing each day. The little Filipino owner April will overcharge you every night if you don't catch her little trick she's undoubtedly pulled on many unsuspecting people. She loves to play dumb and act aloof to any question involving money, but will gladly distract you with small talk like how she despises the Indian competition in the area. Keep your head straight during any transaction and don't sign anything until you have confirmed everything. The naïve will be fooled into thinking she's a charming old lady as she reels in your wallet. Be polite yet vigilant when dealing with this creature, or better yet avoid this place all together.

If you can enjoy a sticky carpet with a busted heater and moldy baseboards, then by all means book this place. The quality of the bed is about the only decent thing. Just be sure to note that their main clientele are groups of construction workers that get drunk and rowdy at 2AM. Coupled with the constantly failing locks and flimsy doors, I definitely would not recommend this place for people incapable of handling themselves if it...
