BEWARE OF YOUR MONEY AND HEALTH IF YOU WANT TO VISIT HERE:

The worst place I have ever been. Absolute rude and worst staff. I tried there wada paav and at first bite itself, I found oil had a strong smell so I just told them. First they refused. These type of food quality issues can create a health concern. But it seems like this place don't care.

When I said, I dont want the another wada paav as its going to be made in a same oil. I asked for a refund instead. Owner of incharge told me he cant give me a refund as they don't have a card machine (well they used a card machine while placing the order to take a money). I said, I am fine with cash too but he said I cant give you cash, sorry!!. And literally kept starring at me. AWFUL PLACE, POOR QUALITY FOOD. SAVE YOURSELF FROM SUCH PLACES. YOUR HEALTH SAFETY IS MORE IMPORTANT. DON’T...

Johal Chaat and Curry came highly recommended by friends. We went tonight and the place did not disappoint! It was a large group of us and we all shared dahi chaat, amritsari kulcha with cholley and with shahi paneer, mango lassi, nimbu paani, rooh afzah (water one), and malai kulfi. Reminded me of Punjabi street food in all its glory. The dishes came out piping hot and hit the spot on a chilly evening. The food was flavorful and the taste was better than traditional Indian restaurants in the Bay Area. It would be icing on the cake if there was ample parking or some foldable tables and chairs. We had to walk quite a bit to where we parked to enjoy the food, but nevertheless, it was a memorable evening with good food and...

Allow me to start this review with OH. MY. GOD! Johal Chaat & Curry was hands down the BEST food truck I’ve ever been to. I had come with my mom, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and huddling together eating the delicious food is such a good memory that I will hold for a very long time! Tasty dahi papdi chaat, savory kulche with chole, buttery shahi paneer, scrumptious vada pav, and ending with a spectacular kulfi was certainly the best street food! I hadn’t eaten REAL Indian street food in a long time, and this food truck tasted so authentic that sweet memories had flooded into our minds. Not much food can make people feel a familiar feeling of comfort, and this really did it for us. I definitely...

Johal Chaat & Curry serves up satisfying Indian street food in a casual, no-frills setting. While free parking can be a bit challenging to find, the friendly service and tasty dishes more than compensate. The outdoor seating might not be for everyone, but if you're okay with a bit of grit, it's a great spot to enjoy their flavorful offerings. The food is simple yet delicious, and the bhatura is a standout, not overly greasy like at some places. For a quick, affordable, and authentic Indian meal, Johal Chaat & Curry is a solid choice.

Decent food truck but nothing special. At the last the amritsari kulcha and chole were ordinary. The kulcha was good while hot but the chole were boring and rather tasteless. The amount of food is good for the price. There are three food trucks in the area and they offer pav bhaji or vada pav for similar price but I guess the portion would be maybe half the size? There is no good parking around the food trucks and tons of signs that say not to park if you are there for the food trucks. Quite risky to park and eat.

Amazing Indian street food! The choley and spicy really hit the spot for me. BUT I couldn't have left out the goat curry. Had it with naan and rice and the goat was amazingly tender. It reminded me of food from Delhi!! On a cold day, this was the food that put us thru undergrad and the whole experience was just a so nostalgic. I would specially want to give a shout out to the staff. Keeping everything moving and customers happy is a delicate balance and they did it with such ease! Keep up the good work!
