Safari Run is the perfect place to go when its a cold and rainy day they have a safari themed indoor playground with big slides and they even have a small section for babies🤗 you can also host a birthday party here they have a couple of rooms that they rent out for birthdays they are closed weekends for that reason they have a little section next to where you check in where you can buy snacks and coffee🤗 I definitely recommend bringing your toddler here we always have a blast when we come #fyp #fypシ #california #bayarea #sunnyvale #toddler #toddlermom #toddlersoftiktok #indoorplayground

This is a great place to host a birthday party for kids up-to 5 years of age. For birthday parties, the play time is one hour which is enough for small kids. The time for gathering and food is 40 mins which I felt was less. 10-20 mins more would be sufficient. Due to less time, our cake cutting ceremony seemed very crunched up. The dining room was nice and clean. The people there are really nice, they would help you serve the food to the guests and you don't have to worry about it at all. They order the pizza from Tasty subs and Pizzas which is really really delicious. you can take two cold dishes for the party, we took fruit salad and chips. Both the dishes were a hit. Kids enjoyed their time in safari run and we had a good time too. Definately Recommended!

This is a fun place to bring young kids. It's clean and has nice restrooms, a hand washing station and sanitizer. You can't book in advance for open play but if you come 15 in advance of the start time you will probably get in. They recently started weekend open play hours; it was surprisingly not at capacity. You can bring food from home but not from restaurants. It you buy a package of 10, the visit per child is only $9 (regular is $12). Update June 2022: we had a birthday party here and were just blown away by the impeccable service. All of the staff are so kind and accommodating; everything is incredibly clean and well-run. The communications ahead of the party are excellent as well.

I did my kid's Bday party here. I don't recommend the place for parties. Staff is so annoying trying to get you out as soon as possible, and don't respect the (already short) time you have paid. No matter what you tell them, they do what they want (like the time of the cake, etc.). It felt very uncomfortable. They must allow better time between the parties they schedule and be less greedy. I was surprised since arrival that the previous party was still there playing in the playground. Parties should never meet on places like this. It is confusing. The play structure was nice and clean but they wanted to take the kids out 15 min before (despite you didn't enter timely de to the previous party) for a group picture and time to wash hands (which shouldn't be discounted of kids play time). They changed the name in the board to another kid several minutes before our time was over. Then in the party room, it got worse: A woman asked me 4 times in front of one of my guests if she can put the candles in the cake, when we had just started the pizzas. Then she came insisting the cake had to be done now, but we still had like 20 more minutes. At cake time, I had to stop her singing as I wanted to take a family picture before singing. They are in a hurry all the time. They closed the box with half cake inside when I was offering more to the people. She wanted to move us away, I remembered her twice I still had time and asked her to allow them 2 more minute, as I waited a few minutes to start, at the beginning of the party. Some of my guests left with the mouth still full. And the top one: she didn't allow me to take a balloon from the 6 balloons in the room, that are supposedly included in the party I paid for, as written in their website in the party packages description! Very cheapy. I'm giving 2 starts because this PROs: tasty pizzas (but you need to eat them like in a marathon), clean play area, lobby...

I've been to many similar indoor play places in two states, including La Petite Playhouse in Redwood City and Luv2Play in San Carlos. I really wanted to like the Sunnyvale Safari Run much more than I did. It looks like a good place for a birthday party, so we'd consider that in the future. The location is great for us, and parking has not been an issue.

We've only been there twice for Open Play, including today. After 45 minutes, my 3 year old son was bored, and overwhelmed by the mobs of kids. It's a hot day, so of course it's full. There were aggressive and pushy kids, but that's common everywhere. A couple of the slides are really fun and the place was clean.

The facility is just too small to be worth the visit and cost. La Petite is probably 3 times larger and costs less. I don't mind paying $13 or even much more for an indoor play date, but Safari Run is not as engaging and fun as a lot of the other places we've been to. My son has never been bored at La Petite or the other play spaces we've visited, but we were totally done after 1 hour and 15 minutes here.

I believe there was only one staff member on duty. There needs to be another employee on a busy, hot day, when there were 25-30 kids, and things were getting chaotic.

The age 3-and-under area is PITIFULLY SMALL and could use more toys -- sorry to say! This place has potential but the 3-and-under play corners at other places have a lot more going on.

I'd rather pay more to take my son to Children's Discovery, or pay less to visit some of the other play spaces in the area that are much more interesting...

We celebrated our son's 3rd birthday here today. Totally impressed with the staff and facilities.

We have come for open play before but this was our first event. I was initially hesitant about the tight timeline and limited options but the birthday party went great. The staff truly knows how to run a tight ship - greeting us warmly and having a place for everything, facilitating play, seamlessly transitioning from one room to another with photo ops, etc. They have so many parties that they are familiar with all types of cake, displays, party favors. I never had to ask for help - they always seemed to know what to do or had a helpful suggestion. Special thank you to Maria, Luna, Aaron, and Lora - apologies if I forgot anyone. The catered pizza was also top notch.

Like others have mentioned, the eating portion does feel a bit tight for adults who want to mingle, but it's probably perfect...
