Momo Grill Food Truck — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

I wish I took a photo of the food before I devoured it!

Where do I begin! Completely blown away - this is one of the best customer experiences I have ever had!

I called ahead to find out where they were. They told me how to get there and even TEXTED me the address after we hung up!

When I got there, I had no idea what to order. I just told them that I was starving and they made a recommendation. After ordering, they offered me a complimentary cup of, probably one of the best Chai Teal Latte’s I have ever had in my life - no offense to my south Asian friends who have made me CTL at their homes.

After a short wait, the cook walked outside with this LOADED plate (literally a mountain) and handed to me this giant mountain of food. He walked me over to the sauce area and explained to me the sauces and poured me sauce on the side.

The food was amazing. Well spiced, hot off the grill, and overall one of the best values of food I have bought in the South Bay.

I wish I took a photo of the food, it was amazing. All for $13 (veggie chow mein + side of veggie momo).

Momos AT ITS BEST!!!

In my experience these are the great chicken momos which I have tasted. I had a chance to meet this Owner and Staff on my first day here in San Jose. Actually the pics which I have uploaded were from their restaurant near Rainbow drive. After a long drive to San Jose, I had ordered a fried rice for a take away from some restaurant (I can't remember the name of this restaurant exactly). When I reached to pick up my food, I found this restaurant instead in this address. I have been told by the owner that the restaurant for which I placed my order was closed few months back and it was already late (around 10 pm). By that time the owner and their staff were preparing their Food truck to leave. They were so generous that they stopped for me and cooked some fresh chicken momos before they leave. They waited till I ate them and later, we have some chat together. I can never forget this generous staff and their hospitality. Would love to visit this place again!!!

Looks like a good place but we had two separate orders as a group. The order came after 25 mins which would have been fine on a normal but it was apparent they missed our orders and were not able to handle a bit of crowd. Super unorganized. Worst part was that finally when the order came, we got a chicken chowmein instead of veg chowmein. When we went back to get it exchanged, instead of being apologetic they asked us for order number to double check if we infact ordered a veg chowmien or not. No trust on customers at all as if we would lie for a plate of chowmein. Finally we asked for the refund and we were refunded for chowmien but horrible experience. Definitely wont come back again or would recommend it to anyone. Food is not that...
