⭐ 4/5 – Flavorful and Authentic, But It Hit Me Later This was my first time trying Pav Bhaji, and it was an interesting experience. I usually prefer meat-based dishes, but this vegetarian street food classic turned out to be a flavorful, buttery, and rich dish that didn’t leave me missing the meat. 🍛 The Food: 4/5 The bhaji (vegetable curry) was packed with spices and a deep, rich, buttery flavor. It was savory, a little tangy, and just spicy enough to keep things interesting. The pav (bread rolls) were soft, fluffy, and toasted with butter—perfect for scooping up the bhaji. The chutneys and sauces added great contrast—some tangy, some spicy, and all packed with flavor. Tasted amazing while eating it, but I’ll be honest—it didn’t sit too well with my stomach later. Could just be my system adjusting to it, but something to keep in mind. 🚚 The Experience: 4/5 It’s a food truck, so don’t expect a sit-down restaurant vibe. But for what it is, it’s efficient and fast. Service was friendly and quick, I got my food in no time. Parking can be a challenge, especially if they’re in a high-traffic area. 💰 Cost: 4/5 Affordable and great value for the portion size. Definitely worth the price, especially considering how filling it was. The Verdict: Worth Trying, But Maybe Not for Everyone ✅ Delicious flavors with rich, buttery texture ✅ Fast service and solid portion size ✅ Great for a quick and satisfying bite ❌ Might not sit well with everyone (heavier than expected) ❌ Parking can be a challenge Would I try it again? Yes, but maybe not when I have a sensitive stomach. If you like bold, spicy Indian street food, this food truck is a solid choice.

You simply have to try this place, if you are visiting the Bay Area and want to have authentic Mumbai street food. Chefs Amol and Saagar have merged their global culinary experience into a simple but authentic Mumbai street food menu. Please don’t be fooled by their food truck setting. I was pleased with the attention to details and quality in their food offerings, as well as the takeout bags design. A bite into the Vada Pav rekindled my childhood memories. The Batata (potato) Vada was delicious on its own merit, without any outside condiments (chutney, sauces, etc). The green chutney they provide as a condiment is flavorful too, and I liked the coarsely ground peanuts in there. Spiced Pav (bread) provided with Pav Bhaji was delicious and so was the Bhaji (mashed vegetables, Mumbai street food style). Perfect way to finish the meal is with their ‘Amrut- tulya’ Chai (‘Heavenly Nectar’ Chai tea). They have limited outdoor seating (in a tent shade), but big part of enjoying Mumbai street food is to stand around the place and eat.

Come on, Silicon Valleans, let's all pile into the Tesla, and do ourselves a solid flavor...er...favor. Even if you don't like Indian food, you'll love this place. Effectively, think fried potato spiced vegetarian sliders on a grilled bun soaked in butter. That's right. And throw in some pomegranate seeds and peanuts. Three hours later, I can really truly no joke still taste it. I plan on skipping tonight's dental hygene session. It's like amazing Superbowl food, if the Superbowl was played in Mumbai, between the Uttar Pradesh Ghaziabadis and Andhra Pradesh Bangalords. Ask what everything is, cuz you're not going to know what anything is. And look out, the yogurt drink is actually spicier than some of the food. 5% discount if you can pronouce Kachchhi three times fast and pay with cash. Don't believe me? Check for yourself. Food: 10+ items on the menu I got the classic Pav Bhaji with extra pav.

They make the food fresh so it can take a couple mins to come out. They were not joking about the masala. Inside of the bread there was a nice red layer of mouth watering masala. I’m glad I didn’t get the spicy option. Pav was hot and the top was shining from the thin layer of butter. Lastly it was topped with some more spices and cilantro. Freshly chopped onions and a lime ( they gave me an extra one for free) on the plate.

The Bhaji comes in a paper container. Nice spoon of Amul butter and more cilantro covered the top. Very hot and mildly spicy. Ordering extra pav beforehand was a good idea…

Amruttulya Chai Really good chai! I’m sure it’s because of the sugar :p. They covered the lid with a piece of tape which is a nice gesture… but a bit awkward. Please invest in a better lid stopper or something.

Restaurant If you already haven’t figured it out this is a food truck. Very nice red paint sitting on the corner of a gas station. There are 4 tables with roughly 20 seats/ “sitting areas”. I wonder if they have more chairs in the side or something. Two large umbrellas that look like they’re about to fly away provide nice shade for those who want it.

Parking is uh… interesting. It felt safe parking in the street/neighborhood. I didn’t see any signs and my car was visible from the seat. Not sure how long you can park at the gas stations parking lot.

Service No yelling out your orders here. You’re given one of those handheld timers to let you know when your food is ready. Had napkins, hand sanitizer and fork/spoons. Didn't pay attention for the use of gloves but everything felt clean and fresh. Staff is nice, they answered my questions about the spicy levels and how they prepared the food.

Overall Must visit if you’re a fan of Pav Bhaji and or Vada Pav. I can see this place getting packed at night. Not sure how their togo...

A Flavorful Delight - Pav Bhai and More, the Best Food Truck in Sunnyvale, California

Pav Bhai and More food truck is, without a doubt, a hidden gem in Sunnyvale. I had the pleasure of savoring their Pav Bhai and indulging in their Amrutalya Chai, which turned out to be the best chai I've had outside the comfort of my own home. The flavors and presentation left a lasting impression on my taste buds.

Upon arriving at the food truck, it was evident why it's so popular; the place was buzzing with customers eager to relish their delicious offerings. Though I had to wait a bit to secure a seat, the anticipation only added to the excitement.

The Amrutalya Chai was nothing short of heavenly. Its delightful blend of spices and richness made it an absolute delight to savor. Every sip felt like a warm embrace, and I couldn't help but marvel at the remarkable taste and authentic flavor.

The star of the show, however, was undoubtedly the Pav Bhai. Bursting with flavors and perfectly spiced, the dish transported me to a culinary paradise. The tender pav complemented the flavorful bhaji in the most delightful way, leaving me craving for more with each bite.

The food truck's dedication to delivering exceptional taste and quality was evident in every aspect of their offerings. The flavors were reminiscent of homemade comfort food, making the experience all the more heartwarming.

I must admit, after this wonderful gastronomic journey, I find myself drawn to Pav Bhai and More time and again. The chai and Pav Bhai have become my absolute favorites, and I cannot wait to return for another delicious treat.

If you're in Sunnyvale and seeking an authentic culinary experience that will warm your heart and satisfy your cravings, do not miss out on Pav Bhai and More food truck. The delightful flavors and friendly ambiance make it a must-visit destination for all food enthusiasts. You won't be...
