Went to Mooyah Burgers. Interesting burger selection. Varies during the year and also subject to creativity. Some are menu standards, with specials and historical buggers (pictures of past burgers posted on the way in). Ask what's available. Full Count Burger ** was good (historical). Sweet Potato Fries **+ were really good when served warm. They didn't taste as good reheated. 😟 Regular Fries * were ok. Needed lots of ketchup to improve them. Shakes *+ were good, but not large (for the price). The straws are huge in diameter - useful if your shake has pieces of fruit or? Nice thinking! Octoberfest hot dog * was fair. (Obviously hot dogs are not their specialty 😏 ) Loaded House Salad was good ** but their Mooyah Sauce (Thousand Island with special ingredient) was just OK **. Took away from the salad. Very typical Safeway. It is a well-run clean store with plenty of staff to help you. Check the clothes out rack in the back of the produce section next to the restrooms. They often have good items on closeout at 50% off. If you like Safeway and what they offer then you will get exactly what Safeway promises. A clean well-stocked will run store. Nothing over the top and nothing disappointing either. Plenty of parking. The store is in a nice neighborhood. The only trouble I have had is with the deals that need to be scanned with your phone. It doesn't always work, but if you take the time the staff will either get it to work or they will swipe their badge and give it to you at the correct price. Cherry Orchard Shopping Center is one of the best spots in Sunnyvale! I love how convenient and easy it is to shop here—plenty of parking and a really nice layout. Trader Joe’s is my go-to for groceries, and having Chipotle right there makes grabbing a quick bite so easy. There’s also Panera Bread, Starbucks, and some great local restaurants that make the center feel lively and welcoming.

The area is always clean, well-maintained, and safe. The landscaping with trees and open seating spots adds a nice touch—you don’t feel like you’re in a crowded shopping plaza at all. It’s a perfect mix of everyday essentials and good food options all in one place.
