Nail Galleria — Local services in Sunnyvale

I went to nail galleria to get my nails done for a wedding. I went in with the intention of getting a mani and pedi with normal nail polish, totaling $55 before tip. The owner agreed but then pushed me to get gel for both my hands and toes, since it seemed she would not accept me getting normal nail polish. This brought my cost to $85 before tip. Then, the next day, my nail polish on my hands started to peel off. Within 24 hours, I had lost all of my gel nail polish on my hands. I called to explain the situation and politely asked for a refund for my manicure. She refused to give a refund but told me I could come back and they would fix it for me. When I went back, they ended up giving me a shorter manicure treatment and painted my nails with normal nail polish. I thought this was “the refund”, but then, once it was done, they said I had to pay $20 again for this treatment. $20 is the normal amount they charge for manicures. They gave me no refund or even a discount for the poor service they provided originally. While the workers were nice, the entire time, I felt the owner was trying to get more money out of me. I ended up paying $105 plus tip, instead of $55 plus tip, even though it caused me much more trouble. This place...

Super happy that I finally got a chance to try this salon out. The business has been here for over a decade and it is easy to see why. The clients seem to have a great relationship with the technicians and the technicians seem to really care. The Mani/pedi was the best I have had in years and felt comfortable enough to try the eyebrow waxing. Best decision that I have made in months. It is clean, comfortable and had a great selection of services and products. So good that I set up a future appointment. Seriously, if you have wanted to try this place out or are looking for a new place to go, don't be afraid to try it out. For a "rookie" like me who has never had a proper manicure or pedicure, I have to give Nail Galleria a five-star rating. I found this place by accident whilst on holiday nearby. After hearing my story, the lovely lady named Jenny took the time to tell me all the options and what would suit me best but left it for me to decide. I had the best time being pampered and feeling so spoiled. I can now be proud of my new gorgeous fingernails and toenails 🥰 Although knowing that I'm only visiting, Jenny and Mai (who came later and also extremely friendly and helpful) both made me feel so welcome.
