Been to this place in the past a few times and I had a disappointing visit my last time, decided to give it a second chance since then. I walked in and was waiting for a few minutes while Brandon was serving someone (Brandon had served me in the pass and has been excellent), an employee came from the back asked me how can he help....
"I asked for a thick shake medium size."
He stands there and doesn't move.... I gave it a couple seconds and said "I'll choose vanilla."
He proceeds to make it and I said to him
"I would like to add toppings."
His response was "you should have told me from the beginning!"
"There is no space for anything in this cup I just made."
I responded "I've never had that issue before coming here for years."
And he just stood there with the cup, like I'm suppose to just take it and didn't offer to redo it.
" I said I'm a customer and this is what I would like, as this has never been a problem before."
He didn't do anything. So I walked out.
Firstly, in any sales/service industry you should ask what the customer would like, try to upswell with add ons, make an experience personalized. This employee did the complete opposite and I will NEVER return to this location unless something changes or management addressed the lack of service in this location...

But as of today, (October 29, 2023 at 3:49pm)I will not return here due to the extremely rude and disrespectful cashier that I encountered. I specifically picked out a cake which happened to be the last cake of the size and shade of green that I liked. I asked the cashier if she could write a birthday message on the cake in the same green that was on the perimeter of the cake and she replied yes. (I shouldâve known better when she didnât acknowledge me upon me entering the store). She brings the cake to the register with the birthday message but in a green that was 10 shades darker than I requested. I bring it to her attention and at this point she tells me the green wasnât going to be the same green because the cake is a different material from the gel they use for writing and I donât have to buy it if itâs such a big deal to me. This type of treatment is not acceptable especially if youâre promising something that you canât fulfill. If she had mentioned this to me prior to sabotaging the cake, then it wouldnât have been an issue. And then to have an attitude with me because it was clear that you made an the error is ridiculous. Went to this Carvel on 8/30/24 at 11:30am and I hope the young lady behind the counter remembers me so she can improve on her costumer service. I came in to purchase a Birthday cake and she didn't sound or act as if she wanted to be bothered to help me or for that matter work, she was more interested in hearing what was in her earpods more then answering my question that I had to repeat 3 times. I asked her about the birthday cakes and her response was nothing more then a grunt and you have to pre order. I turned and started to walk out as I was leaving I said no problem Publix sell the cake I wanted from here and she responded they are not Carvel. Well I did get my cake and yes it was exactly what I wanted and yes it was a Carvel cake.
