My girlfriend and I flew in late from a trip and decided to order a pizza from Domino's. Unfortunately, I mistakenly used the wrong phone number when placing the order since my phone broke the day before. The phone number was saved in my autofill, and I didn’t realize the mistake until the order tracker said the pizza was delivered, but nothing arrived at our door.
I called the store using my girlfriend's phone and was met with attitude from the employee who answered. He claimed they had tried calling six times to get through the gate, and the delivery driver had already returned to the store. This was only a few minutes after the tracker said "delivered," so I was surprised that they hadn’t tried harder to contact us. The story then changed multiple times—first, he said the driver was back at the store, then that the driver was on his way to deliver other pizzas and couldn’t come back.
We politely explained that it was an honest mistake and asked if the driver could return. We even provided a new phone number and offered to wait outside in the rain to make it easier for him. Instead of helping, the employee transferred us directly to the driver without any warning. The driver was clearly upset, and when he eventually came back, he lashed out at us.
I understand that the mistake was on our end, but good customer service means handling situations like this with understanding, not shaming or belittling the customer. We had paid for an expensive pizza and left a good tip in advance, expecting a decent level of service. Sadly, that didn’t happen.

I like to ask for “double” cheese, and they have always been friendly and have never had an issue telling the pizza maker to put in a little extra cheese on my pizza. Well, this time, a gentleman named, Brandon decided to be the pizza police and told me they don’t do “double cheese” anymore. He also asked why I didn’t order through the call center. You can always tell when a person has an attitude that doesn’t want to go the extra mile, and that’s exactly the attitude this man had. I begged but he didn’t budge. I ended up not ordering and because of this man, dominoes just lost a very faithful customer. When I explained that they always just put extra cheese on my pizza when I call, he told me, “they just probably tell you they put extra and they really don’t” and I responded that it’s not true because when I get my pizza delivered my pizza always has the extra cheese promised. This guy just wants to put his bad attitude and bad energy out there. So disappointed. Needs to be trained on customer services before dominoes looses even more customers. Very bad...

Tracker said he left at 7:45 and was 17 minutes away. I understand drivers take more than one order out at a time but when on the tracker I seen him drive 5 miles past me I called the store. The first guy I talked to said he would be to me in 3 minutes. 15 minutes later I called to tell the store that my food has been out for delivery for an hour and the rudest person I talked to with the most condescending tone tells me, “you need to understand that we deliver more than just one order at a time” dude I know. It said 17 minutes an hour ago and when I called the first person said 3 more minutes. Now it’s 15 minutes later and you’re telling me 3 more minutes too just cancel my order. “Well you need to understand” no buddy I don’t need to understand. I asked you 3 times to cancel my order and refund me. Don’t talk to me like I’m a child. I’ve been ordering from here for 7 years and this has only ever happened one time before.
