The cold brew coffee is terrible at this location. Compared to other locations it's night and day. It doesn't matter if you come here early in the morning or later in the day you will always receive a watered down cold brew. Typically cold brew is made seeping coffee grinds in cold water for 24-48 hours and generally it uses more coffee beans than hot or iced would to make. I don't know if this store is trying to save a buck by using less coffee or adding more water to their batches or if they are just bad at managing supply and demand of their cold brews so they don't allow it to brew as long as it needs to. I live very close to this location but have driven much further to the one on 136th and 84th because at least I know I'm going to get the drink I'm paying for and not water with a slight aftertaste of coffee.
Also, last week I ordered the $2 pretzel bites. Never had them before and I thought I'd try them out. Upon receiving my order at the drive-thru I was told they were out of pretzel bites and substituted them with the hash browns. I appreciate the proactive approach the staff tried to take but when I got home and opened the bag I realized they took it upon themselves to replace one $2 order of pretzel bites with one 99 cent order of hash browns. It's only a dollar - not a big deal - but the staff should be more aware of pricing and their stock before they take a customers order to avoid that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really enjoy coming to this Dunkinā Donuts. The location is convenient, the coffee is always solid, and the food is consistently good. Iāve been coming here for a while, and itās usually one of my go-to spots when Iām in a rush or need a quick pick-me-up.
That said, thereās one issue that keeps bothering me ā and itās happened more than once. Every time I go through the drive-thru, it feels like the staff is in a hurry to get you away from the window as quickly as possible. Theyāll take your payment and then immediately ask you to pull forward and wait in a parking spot, even if there are no cars behind you or if your order is pretty standard. Then you end up sitting there for 10 minutes or more, watching multiple cars behind you come and go while youāre still waiting on a couple items.
It completely defeats the purpose of using the drive-thru for speed and convenience. I wouldnāt mind waiting a few minutes at the window if it meant getting my order at the same time as everyone else. It just feels frustrating when youāre the first in line but somehow the last to get your food. I hope management takes a look at how they handle drive-thru orders and finds a better balance between speed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have noticed that Musa is no longer at the location and it shows. Between customer service and the food. I order 50 munckins and they gave me the 50 munchkins and a paper bagā¦. When I correct them and ask for them to come in the box they belong in the manager who was present had the employee give them to me in the 12 donut box for regular donuts. The service has gotten so much worse. The employees donāt know what they are doing in the day shift or night shift. Musa was always personable with every person and most people came to this Dunkin because of this. She always made sure everyone was taken care of and built rapport with everyone. The best part is when you ask the employees where Musa is I have gotten different reasons. Oh sheās on vacation, she sick, or something happened with her family. That is beyond messed up because none of it is true. This Dunkin gets 1 star because the service is awful, the new employees donāt know what they are doing and the one reason most people came to this Dunkin the manger didnāt like her a moved her to another one. The owner of this Dunkin and general manager made a...
