I really don’t like to leave negative reviews but…. First time I had a pan de bono with coffee which was great but the girl at the register had such an incredibly bad attitude. My husband who doesn’t speak Spanish was trying to order and she was rude and sarcastic towards him as well. Second time I went because I thought, give it another shot since the pan de bono was amazing and the hubs though the chicharrón was good so maybe she was having a bad day on our first try. its disappointing to say that we didn’t even enjoy the food, this time we ordered full breakfast, bandeja paisa, various bakery items etc. we went with another family and they felt the same way, the staff is so rude. If you have the need to ask for anything like forks or napkins or anything it’s like you second guess having to ask for anything because they are so ugly about it. Maybe two ladies were super sweet, the rest seemed miserable just to be there.
There are too many restaurants that serve Colombian/Venezuela food with great service around here to go where you are treated...
Read moreI have been coming to this place for 10 years. At least once a week. Last week I picked up food and something was missing from my order so I called to let them know. Today when I return to order the same thing and I told them what happened figuring they wouldn’t charge me for the soup that last week they didn’t give me... the manager said I was lying. I am in complete shock that this man who has seen me weekly for 10 years would do this. He was gonna charge me for the soup that they charged me last week and didn’t give me. I walked out wout the soup and asked for a refund and I will never return. I love the food and so does my family but I will not go somewhere I’m treated this way. The audacity of this man to call me a liar. It’s not the 8$ thanks to God I don’t need the money but it’s the principal. I will tell EVERYONE about this incident. I am a business owner and I would never ever treat a customer like this. I don’t care how amazing the food is I won’t go...
Read moreHad not been here for a year. We have been customers for years, but our past experience was not good, so we had not been back. I decided to try again. I ordered take out Mondongo to bring to my Mom, because she loves it. The Mondongo pieces were so large I had to take it upon myself to take every piece out and cut it into smaller pieces so we could eat it. This happens in low quality cheap Colombian restaurants, and this restaurant used to be a few steps above all the cheap ones around. It is also not cheap! Sad to see the decline continues with a management who does not seem to care about quality and does nothing about it. Empanadas are awful, the almohabanas are floury and grainy. The lack of table service makes it even worse. They have turned it into a cheap low quality joint like most others. May I remind you, you are not in a low income neighborhood. To me this place has...
