I am shocked at the number of positive reviews for this store, as my experience could not be more different. I walked in to BUY an iPad, I needed one ASAP because I was about to go on a 12 hour, last minute road trip with my 2 young children. I was obviously looking for a deal, and wanted to use any upgrades or Verizon Dollars I had. I was told they were running a promotion and the iPad would be free! Then when I went to check out, I was told actually it is only free if you upgrade your phone. During this whole time with the sales associate called his 'boss' 3 times to ask questions. I was slightly annoyed, but I had an upgrade credit so fantastic, I can get a new phone AND an iPad for free, sign me up! After 45 minutes I went to check out, again, with one accessory priced at $35 and was told I owed $205. Wow that was a surprise- so I asked to see a breakdown of what that was. I was told "in store fees" which I said did not make any sense and needed further clarification. The other sales associate, who emerged from the back room only moments before this verbal exchange, decided to chime in and say 'it's taxes, what's the difference' I then replied that I was not comfortable paying over $200 for something I didn't understand. He said something like 'why are you taking this tone, I'm the one who can help you'. OF COURSE you are the one who can help me, it's in your job description, TO HELP CUSTOMERS!! Is asking for a detailed breakdown of costs such a big deal? I wasn't going to NOT pay it, I was simply told for 45 MINUTES that it would be FREE, now I'm paying over $150 in taxes and fees. I never even wanted to upgrade my phone! I told them to cancel the transaction and I would go to the other Verizon store in Davie where I had an amazing experience purchasing my watch. The sales associate then yelled at me "GOOD LUCK, we are owned by the same franchise." I had to call Verizon customer service to get this resolved and they apologized profusely and explained in detail what the charge would have consisted of. I have been a long time Verizon customer who came in to buy an iPad. SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE. I walk out of there after almost an hour getting yelled at. Despite the fantastic service I received over the phone, I will have GOOD LUCK, at ATT!!! You lost a...
Read moreMy mom and I came into the store after being told by sprint and I am quoting a sprint employee “Another carrier would be able to do more for you”. We were greeted right away by Naomi who at the time was assisting another customer. She stated she would be right with us and in just a few minutes she was. We haven’t shopped for cell phone service in over eight years and didn’t know really where to begin. Naomi made the process as easy as could be explaining everything in the greatest of detail and being very patience with us when we asked questions. Daniel was also working that night and once he finished with the customer he was with he also came over to help out. We ended up buying more than we planned on and couldn’t be happier. While we were waiting for our phones to port the numbers over and activate, Daniel and Naomi talked to us not as customers but as friends. They asked about our families as we asked about theirs which made the time go by fast. Once the phones were activated they walked us through step by step making sure we understood the ins and outs of our new service and new phones. Since the purchase of our phones I have had to go back to them a few times to ask a few questions and I also purchased some accessories from them. I received great service every time I have gone in. I would highly recommend Verizon as a cell phone provider and this store as the best place to become...
Read moreseriously need at - star here. Worst customer service ever. Went to sign up for a plan for two phones. One phone worked for a bit then stopped. Went to store. They could not figure it out. Referred us to customer support instead of contacting customer support for us. Three reps in the store including the manager with no customers but didn't help us. A long 2.5 days between Verizon and two trips to the Apple store the problem is that Verizon sim cards and system not compatible with iphone 6 or older. When I went back to the store the manager confirmed this and the rep and the manager actually said "we were surprised when it actually activated". So they knew of the problem yet sold us two sim cards and a plan for the commission then left us high and dry. Went to T-mobile and were set up with two working phones in about 5 minutes. So the saga continues. I called Verizon corporate telling them I want the cost of the sim card refunded and the service I didn't get. The best they could do was tell me to call the credit card company and dispute the Verizon charges...LIKE SERIOUSLY. I spent 9+ hours on this and they want me to dispute the charge with Visa??? I am a very reasonable person...but my recommendation...NEVER GO TO VERIZON WESTON FLORIDA...in fact don't go to...
