Origamy Gelato Weston — Restaurant in Sunrise

Came to this location and asked if I could have a small cup of 2 flavors. I explained to the girl that I have a medical gastric sleeve surgery and I can’t have a medium size ice cream. Every restaurant and ice cream store has been able to made this medical accommodation for me with no issues. The girl decided to be difficult and acted like she really didn’t really care. I asked 3 times. Bad customer service. Zero effort to accommodate me. I asked if they could ask the manager and she said she couldn’t because they were on vacation. Typical minimum wage workers that don’t care about customer service or going to extra mile for the customers. We just moved to the neighborhood and we were hoping to make this our frequent spot. I bought 3 ice creams for my kids but not for myself. They Just lost a potential long term customer for something that could have been very easily...

5/29/24 - reply to owner remarks : I did not, in fact, try the strawberry ice cream, the folks we were with tried it, and they didn't even finish it because of the peculiar taste of it. I tried 3 other flavors, and again, my review, my opinon, that I am entitled to as a food reviewer, I did not like the ice cream, respectfully. This is an open platform where folks can voice their opinion on public businesses whether the owners like it or not. Wish you wouldn't have slumped so low as to try to insult me with your poor comment in regards to my food preferences. It shows poor character on your part and hope that many people read my comment and your low jab to highlight your careless poor attitude. ALSO JUST BECAUSE IT'S ORGANIC, IT DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY EQUATE TO GOOD!

Best Ice Cream place in Weston. Origamy is not only a place to eat vegan, is a whole experience. The ambiance is pretty nice and colorful, customer service is excellent, ice cream and bakery are delicious, and prices are affordable. This is not a place to eat the regular Ice Cream Flavors you commonly find around town, there is flavors like Golden Milk (Turmeric, Ginger and Cinnamon), Sesame, Mint, Açaí, Dark Chocolate. You will also find fresh fruit favors like Passion Fruit, Mixed Berries and Coconut. The vegan Burger with Siracha is really tasty and the Croissant and avocado toast are perfect for a healthy breakfast.
