Where is Gordon Ramsey when you need him because this place needs an overhaul to bring pride back to what it means to be a mom and pop shop that supports its community and most importantly its own employees. Second time ordering and it's the second let down. Really wanting to want their pizza because its a local spot and not some chain, I take pride in supporting Mom & pop shops. There are some serious flaws here though. Delivery, late and lost both times. Pizza was a cold wet sloppy greasy mess. The grease was so bad it soaked through the box, that was too small to fit the pizza, before I even got it. The pizza had pockets of raw garlic like someone carelessly just slapped it on without trying to evenly distribute it. This was supposed to be a simple 25 dollar garlic Alfredo chicken pizza but as you can see there is no Alfredo sauce it's just regular tomato marinara with a bunch of unneeded oil and globs of garlic. Where is the oil from? This is supposed to be baked chicken? Is it greasy sauce or greasy cheese? It seems to me that this place is just another cattle call, hiring people for next to nothing wages expecting them to slave away unhappily while carelessly preparing the food we pay for with the cheapest ingredients all so some guy can make profits that he or she will probably blow on a weekend night at the casino. It's a shame that people can no longer have pride in the work they do because of the greed of their employer. It's either that or just bad management. Most likely both especially if the owner is also the micro manager... I'm scared to know how their walk in fridge and...
Read moreBeen a loyal customer to this establishment with my family for as long as I can remember (20+ years. ) . Ordering from them was my weekly family tradition growing up with my parents . They literally knew our faces. They're not perfect, a few order mistakes over the years but they are very worth it and delicious .and staff always so kind. However sad to say that my WORSE experience came from the OWNER HERSELF . My family loves their subs but its times that I've eaten their sub and it wasnt enjoyable because of how the person made it . Since I've been a loyal customer for so long I know who makes good sandwiches . I went in there 6 months pregnant CRAVING a mega meat muncher . Being PREGNANT whatever your craving has to taste like what you need . So I simply asked the woman asking for my order for a specific person to make my sandwich .On a regular day I would just test my luck with whoever was avail. I wasnt rude at all because I've never had an issue before with such a request with them (completely unaware they were busy that day with a catering gig) the owner overhears and YELLS at me directly she refuses to take the guy off of whatever he was doing and was clearly annoyed with my request and made me feel like sh*t and completely under valued as a customer or human being. I literally left in tears and I haven't been back in 2 years. I'm craving them today and I'm scared to even go in . Hopefully the OWNER...
Read moreThis is a tale of two companies that have seriously destroyed their reputations in my eyes. I placed an order with Postmates for Zuccarelli at 8:09 pm on 3/29/21 after being told that they wouldn't deliver to my complex. My order was supposed to be delivered by 9:09 pm. At 9:09, I called the restaurant since my order had not arrived. I was told by one of their female employees, that Postmates had to come in and place the order on my behalf and that he had picked up the order 10 mins prior to my calling. I live less than 3 miles from this restaurant. I gave them an additional 20 mins in case he had other deliveries to make. 9:39 and still no food. I called the restaurant and was rudely told by a male employee to call Postmates since they aren't affiliated. So, I did. They couldn't reach the driver and again I waited. My food arrived at 10:27 pm, nearly two and a half hours later. The food was cold, hard and extra greasy. When questioned about my order, he says he placed it using his Postmates card and was told it wouldn't be ready for 45 mins. He stated that he went in after 30 mins and it wasn't ready yet. Between not being told the truth by Zuccarelli and my food arriving cold via Postmates, I ended up cooking for my 36 week pregnant wife. This has to be the worst game of keep away. I am requesting a refund and have no plans to order with either company again....
