First time here. Went about 6pm Friday night. Quoted 25 min wait, was only about 10 min. Sat on the covered patio. The misters made it enjoyable with the 110 weather. The hostesses were nice and friendly. Food came out after about 20 min. My husband ordered the Juicy Lucy and asked for it well done, the waitress said it might have some pink because it has cheese in it and that's just how they come out. He ordered tots as his size instead of chips, this is an additional charge. I ordered the PB&J burger with a side salad instead of chips, again this is an additional charge. Our waitress, Savannah, asked what kind of dressing and I said ranch. The reason I mention this is because it was the beginning of her simply not listening to us. My husband ordered a beer, she asked what size he said 16oz. Beer comes out, looks way bigger than 16oz. Ask her to confirm, she says it is. Again, it's bigger than our water glasses. Anyway, food comes out, both our meals have fries. Fried are also an up charge, but not what either of us ordered. The man who dropped off our food was very pleasant and as soon as he put mine in front of me, I realized right away they gave me fries instead of a salad. He apologized and got me one right away. As soon as he left to get my salad we realized my husband got fries too and he ordered tots, it wasn't as big of a deal as the salad and so we didn't ask for it to be fixed. However, when our waitress came by to check after our food arrived I told her the man was getting my salad and that my husband got fries by mistake, she just looked at me like she had no idea that's what we ordered, but she even asked me what kind of dressing I wanted so she clearly heard me order correctly. I don't know if this was the kitchen's mistake or hers, but I'm leaning towards her because of other things. Now, my husband finished his beer and was asked if he wanted another and he said sure, and confirmed again he wanted a 16oz. Well another large beer showed up. When we got the bill, sure enough we were charged for two 22oz beers. He didn't even finish the 2nd one because it was too much and she said both times it was 16oz even though we doubted it. Back to the food, the PB&J burger was fine. I asked for well done, or "no color" as she called it and it again it was fine, but worth noting their well done is very well done, it was pretty dry. I wouldn't order well done again, but I always give places a pass the first time I order something well done because it's not consistent from place to place so you don't really know what their version is till you get it. The salad was good, but simple. Lettuce, a few tomatoes and a few cucumber slices. The Juicy Lucy was VERY pink. It's understandable if they can't cook it a certain way because it's stuffed but she should have said it would be super pink. My husband didn't care for it because it was so pink and I didn't try it because that grossed me out. Fries were fine. Once we finished, we both had half our burgers, I had a little salad and all the fries they gave me by mistake as well as my husband had some fries left, we waited about 20 minutes after being done for her to come back so we could get the check and ask for boxes. By this time we had already been there over an hour, not including wait time, we usually don't stay at restaurants this long so I was getting antsy and ready to go. She comes by and I ask for boxes, she says 1 or 2? I said 2. She comes back with the check and stack of boxes and again asks how many boxes and again said 2. She handed me 1 and walked away, I had to raise my force and call her back and say we need 2 boxes. She didn't listen about the sides we ordered, she didn't listen to the size of beer we ordered, she didn't listen to how many boxes. She simply asks questions and doesn't bother listening to the answers. I would say she was the most frustrating server I've ever had. She was just going through the motions. We still tipped her $10 on a $60 check, which typically we'd do more, but I would not be happy to have her as a...

Read moreOn 7/26 in the evening we ate dinner here. We had the Pretzel with cheese for appetizer, wife had the Rocky Point burger with house chips and Prickly Pear Margarita. I had the Steakhouse burger with house chips and a Coors. Immediately within 1 hour my wife began to get sick with a very serious case of food bourne illness. Also, there was dozens of flies everywhere. As I looked around people throughout the restaurant were swatting flies away from their food. And the flies were so intense they were all over the windows and TVs. It was disturbing and felt like it was surreal being at a new restaurant. I started to wonder how many flies made it back to the kitchen as the swinging door opened to the kitchen while we ate our food. The waitress acknowledged the flies but shared no concern about it while treating it non-chalantly. We immediately called the HQ for this restaurant chain to report it on Monday. Even thought they are addressing it by saying exterminators are involved. We just recieved a call from their insurance company which down played the illness and even tried to say it could have been other food ate earlier in the day. We felt as if our lives did not matter and empathy was not even a thought. Even though we clearly explained to them that someone else on here wrote a review about flies on that same day. The restaurant HQ leadership did contact us to hear us out and has been in communication. And did explain they were already aware of this issue and working on the flies issue. Just really disgusting to eat with a bunch of flies swarming you while you pay to eat at a new establishment. Which this was our 1st time at Cold Beers and...
